Hey guys! Found this online (I’m a huge fan of author Ashley Griffin’s btw – she’s a Broadway performer/writer.) This is a OUAT spec script (NOTE THIS IS NOT A REAL SCRIPT FROM THE SHOW.) PLEASE read this! I can’t think of anything more brilliant to do with The Little Mermaid in Storybrooke!

    Thanks for the link!

    This bit made me LOL…

    You read the contract?

    ARIEL
    Every word.

    A beat.

I can’t have been the first one to read a contract.

    RUMPLESTILTSKIN
    To my knowledge.

I can totally imagine his expression as he says that.

It’s an interesting take on the story. My only concern was that she was trying to write Ariel as sort of Belle2.0, with the way she was standing up to and believing in Rumple.

I’m really eager to see what they do with The Little Mermaid on the show.

There is a similarity – but I liked how Belle was that person romantically for Rumple, and Ariel is being played as him having that relationship with a child. I found that interesting – having him relate in a parental situation.

And I loved those lines too.
