I thought it was hilarious because I had actually had a conversation with a friend about CBS vs ABC in terms of this sort of thing minutes before they posted this!

Hookers might be odd given what that term implies but does it really need changed?

If they’re gonna keep using hashtags to promote eps, they probably don’t wanna use #Hookers when it comes to promoting Hook’s centric ep, (which they’re probably about the start filming, so that could explain the timing of these tweets).
Good luck getting a new name to catch on now, though. Some people may consider it a tad unsavoury, but Hookers embrace the name, and have been using it for quite a while now.
That seems most likely, Phee. For the episode “The Evil Queen” the hashtag was #EvilRegal. We’ve got our first real Hook flashback episode this year where they’ll need some sort of clever hashtag.

That really threw me b/c there’s never been a problem with our fan names in the past. Felt really out of place for ABC to be like, ‘Okay, maybe we can go with something better?’ Colin gave us that name and yes, it can be taken differently but I can’t think of a better name. Hook has a hook.

I agree. It seems wrong to try and call Hook fans anything else. Also it was a self-chosen name by the Hook fans, they like the name, if they didn’t they wouldn’t use it.
Could call them the JollyRodgerers but that’s still in the same vein as Hookers but a bit more cheerful.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixABC marketing should be clever enough to come up with other hashtags for Hook episodes. I’m sure if they think real hard they could manage.
