A thing that might be nothing, but always lurkes in my mind when theorising about the possible evil of Blue: Is this menacing image of a blue star hovering over fairytaleland, you know in technical terms a blue star is a dead star that is about to blow up- Now, I think the blue glowing ring with a clock in the middle, in Granny’s dinner, is a symbolic image of the Blue fairy hovering like that over “Storybrook”-(or the inhabitants of Storybrook) It’s a blue shiny ring- hence, blue star. And think about the wallpaper in the dinner- it is a forest (sorry if I could figure out how I would post the image here 🙄 ) That it is a clock in the middle is ofcourse symbolic of time having a big importence somehow, like time ticking away closer and closer towards an unavoidable fate.

Also, regarding the Captain Hook spoiler, I think he’s going to be screwed over by Cora and Regina, who don’t want Rumple dead, but rather, want to control the Dark One with his dagger. Captain Hook, however, can use any weapon of choice to kill Rumple outside of SB, where there is no magic and he’s not bound by the dagger. He could kill Rumple and thus avoid becoming the next dark one. So, I think Hook could simply get in his enchanted ship, which is now made invisible thanks to Cora’s magic and is the fastest boat according to Eddy and Adam in the most recent official audio podcast, and sail for NYC, where Rumple is still trying to get through to Baelfire.
Maybe that’s why Rumple and Hook haven’t been seen, well not that I’ve seen, in the spoiler pictures that have come out for the episodes after “Manhattan”. I know Rumple is supposed to help Belle get her memory back and there’s suppose to be a big Rumbelle episode later on this season, maybe the last episode or next to last episode of the season I’m guessing, but maybe something happens between Hook and Rumple in NYC which is why I haven’t seen them around Storybrooke.
It would be interesting because while Rumple may have magical power, it might actually be safer to stay out of Storybrooke if Cora and Regina did get their hands on the Dagger because they couldn’t be able to control him outside of Storybrooke. Then, Hook and Rumple would have to fight each other without Rumple having magic, but this time Rumple wouldn’t be scared of his son dying without a parent. Also, he has plenty of motivation now to really go after Hook even without magic. I don’t know how the Charmings + Nealfire could fight off Regina and Cora without Rumple’s help, but maybe since Emma can’t be killed by Cora and has magic of her own, maybe they could fight Regina and Cora without Rumple being around.
There’s also the Blue Fairy as the wild card. Obviously, I think she’d still help the Charmings + Neal, whether because she’s on their side or because it’s way too early to switch sides if they do go that route sometime later, but with her wand back + Emma’s magic, maybe the Charmings + Neal have Rumple leave town for his safety and their safety.
Anyhow, if that did happen, I think he’d defeat Hook, but it would be really close. I don’t think Hook would die, but he wouldn’t necessarily come back to Storybrooke, or he would, but viewers wouldn’t be quite sure or not. They could make it a cliffhanger type of thing at the end of the season with Hook leaving but being out there as a threat for next season since they plan on going to Neverland at some point, I believe.

Now on the SwanFire front, I wonder if Neal makes up a lie about having a girlfriend/significant other because he sees himself as unworthy in Emma’s eyes, and that Tamara is from FTL too somehow. (Although I guess she could be both, but I’m thinking it’s only the latter.) Or Emma just assumes that there’s something there when there really isn’t. The more I think about it no matter how understanding a significant other might be, I don’t think that Neal would have her come to Storybrooke if she was just a regular outsider. It would be too dangerous for both Storybrooke residents no matter how much Neal might trust her and for Tamara if she were just a regular person who didn’t have any kind of skill and/or knowledge about how their world works.
A character keeping the name they had in the casting call, how odd. 😆
The pics of her bumping into Neal in ep18, I got the impression that that was the first time they met. If she’s in NYC in the present day in ep15, then I guess we’re gonna see interaction between them of some sort, and then in ep18 we’ll get the flashback of how they met. Unless and until there’s a set pic of them locking lips, I’m still not buying that they’ll be romantically involved though.
We don’t know yet if Tamara will also be in FTL flashbacks. If she is, given her not having aged since the days when Snow was a girl, that would seem to point towards her being a fairy. And we now know that we will be seeing Blue in flashbacks in this ep. So if Tamara is a fairy who works for Blue, they could easily show that.

Good point. I’d assumed that Tamara would be in the FTL flashback, but Tamara might just show up in a scene in present-day NYC with Nealfire. I hope she and Neal aren’t an item, so your insight that this could be their first meeting makes me hopeful they’re simply mere acquaintances. I also like the theory that Tamara could be Tinker Bell and simply have a platonic relationship with Nealfire Pan.

February 15, 2013 at 4:43 pm #173528PheeParticipantI’m starting to dig the Tink theory for Tamara, though of course that all hinges on whether or not Bae went to Neverland, like many (including myself) have speculated. There’s no obvious name link, though if you want a vague one, apparently one of the French translations that’s been used for Tinker Bell is Tinn Tamm. If you wanna get convoluted about a potential visual connection, when the casting call was for an African American, everyone instantly had her pegged as Tiana, whose signature princess dress has a green section over the top that looks like leaves, and looks similar to Tink’s dress. Now that’s what I call conclusive evidence! 😛 😆
February 15, 2013 at 10:42 pm #173575midnight drearyParticipantThat’s it. It’s official. I am officially suspicious of the Blue Fairy. After reading this synopsis, I can’t help but think that the Blue Fairy was the one who poisoned Snow’s mother. And now, she also wants to “help” Snow protect Rumpel’s dagger from Cora? Hmmm…
February 15, 2013 at 11:08 pm #173584RumplesGirlKeymasterYeah more people joining the “Blue is Sneaky Fairy!” train 🙂
I wonder if the connection the writers kept hinting at (with Eva and someone we already know) is Blue and Eva doesn’t have any connection to Rumple or Cora."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 16, 2013 at 2:20 am #173607jessistaParticipantI took the FairyPuncher status out of my sig after I thought the character would be killed off. Should I put it back and make it a real board-thing?

With that being said we know that BF could have told Rumple about making a wardrobe from an enchanted tree and spared everyone the curse but she did not…so was she trying to keep Rumple from Bae all this time? I mean if Eva doesn’t die…the curse isn’t cast and Rumple doesn’t get to Bae the either. I don’t know it just all seems suspicious imo. That and the fact the BF is showing up in quite a few episodes after Manhattan.
I was wondering this myself. I wanted to make a thread on why BF didn’t suggest the enchanted wood to Rumple. The more I think about it the more I feel she is up to something else.
