    Hey guys.

So according to Adam, Anastasia is *not* Cinderella’s step sister which is why she isn’t in 6×03 of the parent show. However although it was never outright said that she was, there were so many hints in Wonderland to suggest that she clearly was.

So I’ve had enough of Adam’s lies on Twitter. I now want to put ALL of those references into a video and sent it to him. Can anyone help me remember all the references and what episodes they were in?

    Thanks!

This is what I’ve got so far (Her name, The ‘Still have your sisters’ and the Prince choosing the Step-sister). I’m sure that there’s more though. I don’t want it to do live until I’ve got more.

I actually went back through the WL threads from “Heart of Stone” and “The Heart of the Matter” to find all the clues again last night (being equally angry).

–We all though Ana’s mother looked exactly like Lady Tremaine

–She threatens to make Ana her maid if Ana returns  (there’s a line about a bucket)

–The entire conversation with the Jabberwocky

–@Watcher brought up the fact that in one of the sequels (Cinderella 2 maybe) Ana rebels against Lady Tremaine and falls in love with a baker (I think). Obviously Ana falls in love with Will, a petty thief and IIRC there’s even a scene in episode 6 of him stealing bread

–Ashley actually makes an appearance in the pilot which seemed odd unless you’re connecting the dots

–Ana wears a light pink dress while talking with her mother (before going for more iconic Red Dress as the Red Queen) and in the Disney film, Anastasia dresses in pink (Druzilla in Green)

There was also the fancy horse drawn carriage featured in the “Heart of Stone” title card – something that never actually appeared in the episode if I recall correctly, so it couldn’t have been referring to something else like a generic carriage in my opinion.

Thanks. Although I just looked it up and then had a quick look through a gallery of screencaps from the episode and it’s the same carriage as the one that the Red Queen took Alice in to retrieve the dust.

Sorry for not contributing a helpful reference (I don’t own OUATiW), but as moral support, this is what A&E’s reaction to the Anastasia question reminds me of:

    Ugh. Toddlers.

Agree with you, and also bc they will keep saying that they want to show Ana untold story, and maybe really they want to show it , but we keep forgeting something, like i said in another thread, maybe the actress didnt wanted to return , so they had to retcon, and say Wonderland is not cannon,  is not like they would say, “oh sorry, but the actress thinks we are idiots and doesnt want to return and work with us, and the same with Will actor, they dont want to return, but #nospoilers”

Sure, but this isn’t impossible to solve. Something to the effect of this:  “Yes, we would have loved to pursue the Cinderella/Anastasia connection, but since Emma Rigby is very busy with other  projects, we decided that this isn’t a storyline we can do justice to without her. But we are so thrilled that people remember and care about Ana’s story and we are so lucky to have such smart, attentive fans. Thank you all!”

Boom, done. Upholds the fans, upholds Emma Rigby no matter what she feels about A&E, addresses audience’s question, and doesn’t try to gaslight everyone.

They did that with Jafar actor, which in his case is true, he has other stuff and contracts with other companies,  but the problem happens, when she is not busy, she is not doing anything at the moment, at least according to her imbd page, she has several projects to premierethis year and one next year, but nothing doing now( at least that is known in her page), bc in the end they cant made up projects when the actors are not doing anything.

But then again, they could be real writers and end what they started and do some storylines in a row, and stop this, of doing some storylines in one season and only 2 or 3 seasons after return to them,  heck they dont even know their show timeline,  that is their problem, they start some stories, get a new toy to play at the middle of the story, dont end it, retcon 3000 things in btw, and when they have no more ideas they want to go back, but is not possible anymore, bc doesnt fit in the storyline anymore ( this whole cinderella family being in the LoUS, is another retcon of s1, bc ruby said to henry and emma that Ella was living with 2 step sisters and one stepmother in SB, so they couldnt be in LoUS) or the actors are not available anymore.

That is another problem of them, if they didnt confirmed it in Wonderland, that leaves the door open for them to retcon, there are so many scenes like that on ouat, where the scene is open to several interpretations.
