I think him being a gardener was close enough to him being a stable boy (royal servant) without it being completely repetitive.
I think it’s supposed to be a play on the “green thumb” idea.
Well I liked Johnatan. And I liked the story. Especialy the way Cora’s eyes were lit when both him and Leo said that they’re princes. Like “golddiger mode activated”.
