    nurse quilt in progress

A quilting I am in the process of making for a friend

I am making this for a friend who is leaving to go to Texas for cancer treatment at a special cancer hospital.  We are both nurses and have worked for several years together.

It was tricky using my phone to get a picture of my phone in its new phone case, but I managed it! (Okay, I borrowed a friend’s phone for a few moments and had her send it to me.)

Crocheted freehand to fit the phone. Works pretty well. I’m looking forward to using it on those days when I don’t have pockets but want to go for a walk or riding my bike…

And this is what I’m trying to make with the giant hook. It’s a granny square shrug. Or at least it will be…

This blanket and I have had many trials. I think it’s done. At least, I’m declaring it done.

Yay, you won the battle.  I hope the …..thing….is fixed.  I can’t tell where it is.  Great blanket!

    It is done!

This project and I have been fighting each other for a few weeks now. I royally screwed it up the first time and had to frog the entire thing. But now it’s done. A nice granny square shrug in “Atlanta Apricot”

Oooh, nice, RG.  And you can wear it when cheering the Pirates or Steelers.  *hides away from Heather*
