Made a quick summer cowl for my mom. She picked out the yarn and it only took me about 3-4 hours. It’s like a mini scarf that closes.

This is the peacock feather blanket, in the color “Creamsicle” It’ s only about 30 rows right now, and it’ll probably end up being about 160 rows.

So jealous at how quickly you can crochet a blanket vs. knitting. Knitting is a lot slower although it takes less yarn than crochet. I’ve been knitting a baby blanket and it’s taking me forever even on large needles and holding two strands to make a bulky thread.

Gaultheria, if you need sock blockers there’s good instructions on how to make them online out of plastic placemats. I’m planning on making a few myself.
Taking a tiny break from knitting to finish my tote bag. It’s a fold-over tote that you can carry by a long strap or by the handles if you fill it up.

My mom loved her shrug and it fit her great! I am now making the bobble stitch blackberry salad blanket that is all over Pinterest. I hope to finish it by the end of the month.
