ParticipantYes, is your blanket finished?
I have no idea how to post a pick on here from my computer. I don’t think you can, can you?

ParticipantOn the left is my blackberry salad afghan that I am making. On the right is a simple blanket I am making for Reed from yarn I got at Joann’s for $1.40 a skein.
This isn’t all of my stash, just want I am making for this project. Oh and you can see the small skeins of sock yarn I got today as well.

ParticipantKP, I got the same Serenity Garden yarn in Gems and a few other colors. It’s discontinued and I’ve been eyeing it up. I made my Clapotis scarf in the Hibiscus colorway and I bought two skeins of three others.
Very nice blanket. It will keep him nice and warm.
Still working on mine. Hope to be finished with its knitting tomorrow.

ParticipantOkay, so here is a peak into my stash. It’s so unorganized and all over the house. This is some of the stuff in my living room. I still have some stuffed away in bags in the corner that I have to pull out. Then I have my upstairs stuff. I really need a more reliable method of storage than strewn around every room in the house. 😉 In total this maybe be a quarter to a third of my yarn I’m guesstimating.

ParticipantSome day I need to take proper photos of my fairy garden creations to post in this thread. Anyway…
A friend’s daughter who is a bit of a Disney Princess junkie was having a Frozen themed 6th birthday party. Of course she was getting both Elsa and Anna costumes to add to her extensive Disney Princess costume wardrobe, but her mum asked if I could make her some tiaras to top it off.
Anna doesn’t wear a crown of any kind, so I just made up a design to match her costume.

She wanted the Elsa crown in silver even though it’s gold in the movie, so I used clear chip beads to look like it was encrusted with icicles, (the number of hours I spent trying to tie that jigsaw of itty bitty beads together got way outta hand, it drove me insane).

Participant*looking at Phee’s pics*  I wish we all lived  closer so we could just all have a crafting night full of glue, yarn, sparkles and fun. I’ve been knitting, just not completing anything other than dishcloths for my sister.  Maybe I shouldn’t have four projects going at one time.  But I have been sewing.  In the past few days I’ve made two things.
1) Mug caddy. Â You can fill it up with pens, markers, makeup stuff, crafting supplies. Â Whatever you want. Â Pockets are on inside an outside.
2) Japanese Knot Bag. Â It’s going to be used for carrying my small knitting projects around to work or the laundromat so they don’t get filthy or roll around.
