Pixie, are you making a kit? I’ve made a bunch of dollhouses. I even have a my own miniature router table. Since you do a variety of crafts, it will help you a lot. You can make your own rugs and furnishings. Things get expensive very fast. Scrapbook paper is also a godsend for wallpaper. I’ll have to pull out some of my houses and take pictures of them. I’m currently rehabbing one I built a few years ago and never finished.

Yeah, the actual kit is built but I’ve not had the time or money lol to do much more yet. I’ve had some awesome ideas from some people and am planning to knit and embroider some rugs and blankets etc if I can get them good enough

If you’re planning on making rugs, this is a great book. Miniature Needlepoint Rugs for Dollhouses. I’ve used it and it has 37 rug designs.

Here is another great site for various printables you can use in your house when you’re decorating . I’ve used this site a lot through the years. http://www.printmini.com

I get excited at miniature things. 🙂

I want to be craftier than I actually am…but every so often I find my muse. 🙂

I made these chipped cup earrings:

And the other day I decorated a doll room for my American Girl dolls:

Okay, a group of us have been talking crafts lately and probably driving the other chatters bonkers in the process. 😛

We’ve been posting updates and pictures of our projects so I thought I’d do it here:

Hoping to get the other side done this weekend so I can block it and seam it. The pressure to give update photos in chat is actually driving me because I lose interest very easily and peer pressure is an incentive. I’m shamed into working on it 😛

I crochet, sew, scrapbook, and bake. I haven’t crocheted anything special, basically the only thing I can crochet is a blanket with a name in it. Ive sewn two girls dresses, and made three too toos, made my daughters wonder woman Halloween outfit, made numerous cakes and pies. I scrapbook, but I’m so far behind.

Time to hide your crazy, and start acting like a lady.

I just started learning to crochet back in Dec. So here are some of things I really love

This is Neal and Emma Duck that I made because apparently OUAT rules my entire life

Not a knitter except for an annual knit hat for my grandson that usually comes out wonky.

I’m a crafter, but I don’t knit, quilt or crochet. I scrapbook and do some paper arts, and I decorate fancy sugar cookies. (One of these days, I’ll get around to the OUAT set I plan to do.)

The two things have more in common than you’d think. 🙂
