Oh, very cute, all of them RG. That blanket was worth the time it took.

Here’s an update on the monster pants I’m knitting. After you’re done with the project you go back and add the eyes and teeth. The pink wider part is the mouth. Now I just have to find out Baby Bison’s size because I went a bit off pattern and I have no idea the measurements it should be now. So I’m taking a break from it till I find out the info I need. Thank goodness for blocking, which this think will need anyway. Blocking covers a lot of sins.

One more project done! My cousin is adopting her first child, so she’s getting the standard blanket, booties, beanie. Yarn was Lion Bran Baby “Circus Print” It’s an acrylic and nylon blend, but it’s incredibly soft and airy.

Very adorable, RG. Your blanket set match my pants. (Same yarn company 😛 )

So I had to frog part of one leg back and then I set the pants down for a few days, worked on my sweater a bit and now back to the pre-frogging place on the pants. I hope today to get them all evened up and then work on finishing them.

My MO for knitting is get gung-ho on the first third of the project, work steadily but a bit slower on the second third, and them peter out on the last third. I don’t know why but I guess I see the finish line and know it’s there but it seems so far ahead and I just want to cast on something else. A serious case of “startitis”. Or it could be my “crafting ADD” coming out. I do need to have multiple projects going or I’d just go insane.

I keep being told I need to post here 🙂

I made some skirts – the short version is that I am going to Disney later this year, and while at JoAnn’s, I spied some (okay, a lot) of super cute Disney fabric. I run around the parks in skirts with bike shorts under, it’s cooler than wearing capris or long shorts. So I sewed up some skirts, some I really like, others I am meh on…

    Sleeping Beauty #1…

I didn’t love it so I made another one, with lace over the purple panels… love this version 🙂

Here’s a Winnie the Pooh skirt, which I wasn’t so sure about but ended up loving…

And a Minnie Mouse skirt… my roomie says it looks like a French flag lol.

I have some amazing (read: not juvenile) Snow White, Pinocchio and Peter Pan fabric that I got on Etsy, as well as some Monsters Inc, Alice and Cinderella… those are all up next. I maaaay have overbought fabric just a smidge. Oops. I’ll have skirts for the next decade!

Cause this story needs some mending & a better happy ending...

Finished my first project of the year. It is the Leaping Blocks blanket on Moogly. My friend is having her second little girl in a month. I loved making this blanket and can’t wait to make it again.

On a side note my MILs dog ate my Furls hook aka the 75 dollar crochet hook. Fuels is great and is replacing it, but will take months to make again. Boo!

RG love the blanket and booties. Jo I love that birdhouse.

Thanks, but it was RG who made the birdhouse, not I. 😛

My Belle is going to Disney so…(turn your eyes away DSB) so I made a little gift for Macy and DSB:

    and

They are marble magnets and push pins. I used a Disney activity book from Dollar Tree and marbles I had at home and add some glue and magnets and there you have it.
