Loving all these pics. I’m working on a blanket, but mostly just sitting on the couch. We got our floors done and it created chaos.
Some new things completed!
My Midnight Sky Shawl in Caron Simply Party “Black” and “Silver”
Scrap Pillow in a bunch of various green yarns
Double Layered Braided Cowl in Vanna’s Choice in “Silver Blue” (crappy lighting)
did not work
Some more completed projects (because I can’t stop making ALL OF THE THINGS)
Mom’s Bubble Scarf. Done in Bernat Satin “Flamingo”
Here There Be Dragons Hat. Done in Big Twist Premium “Raven” and Red Heart Super Saver “Chili”
Pineapple Passion Scarf. Done in Caron Simply Soft “Robin’s Egg”
Hedwig Hat. Done in Paton’s “Winter White” and Big Twist Premium “Raven.” Also, used 10 googly eyes.
A few updates!
This is my Bromstick Lace Mobius. I made this out of this most gorgeous yarn I’ve ever seen when @HeatherC1212 and @Dontstopbelievin decided it would be a good idea to take @Josephine and I to a yarn store. That was dumb of them, to be honest.
The yarn is Painted Sky, color “Tropical Flame”
A Spring Wreath I made for my mom out of Big Twist Premium “Shamrock;” various scrap yarns for the roses and BonBon “Beach” for the bee (whom my mom named Bentley)
My aunt asked me to make her coworker a baby set. Done in Deborah Norville Baby Serenity “Tea Roses”
Summer handbag in Wool Ease Thick and Quick “Fisherman;” Lined with two fat quarters (Red Trellis), two 6” bamboo handles, and added a decorative red flower.
Here There Be Dragons Hat. Done in Big Twist Premium “Raven” and Red Heart Super Saver “Chili”
Is this is inspired by House Targaryen?
"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy
Stared on a new quilt … these are just pictures of some of the segments that I will use to assemble the quilt. I need two more segments similar to these … the four smaller segments … not sure if I will make segment that dominates the center of the quilt. I am winging it and will make my decisions visually as I put all the parts up on a design wall.

IT will be QUEEN SIZE … about 100 inches x 100 inches.

Nonnie those are lovely! I’m tempted to learn to quilt….
Nonnie those are lovely! I’m tempted to learn to quilt….
I do not think you will regret it … I am currently using a 60 year old SINGER 301 … all it does is a straight stitch but it is a great straight stitch. I do send my large quilts out to be quilted together …. I use to do my quilting but got a little to old for that…. still quilt my smaller projects ( under full size quilt.)

THIS was the inspiration pattern but as usual I am changing it on the design wall. The original pattern is way too small so I am sewing mine about double in size … big enough to fit a queen size bed… Will post more pictures in the future.
I don’t sew often, but I did make a pair of sleeping shorts today.
Yes these are #DoctorWho shorts, thanks for asking. #CraftySciFi #AllByMyself pic.twitter.com/6j47CCbWEu
