Hey everyone!
So a recent obsession of mine has been Lin Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton soundtrack. It is incredible and inspiring and revolutionary (pun intended).
Seeing Hamilton is #1 on my bucket list, and I’m hoping to get to New York at some point this summer so I can enter the lottery for tickets.
Has anyone here seen the show or met any of the cast members? Or is anyone just in love with the soundtrack? What are your favorite songs?
If you haven’t listened to the soundtrack, I would fully recommend it. (Warning for brief coarse language)

I love My Shot too. My current favorite (it changes every day) is Wait For It. All of Burr’s songs are incredible…Leslie was the perfect choice for Burr. As much as I love Lin, I really want Leslie to win the Best Actor Tony.
Also, It’s Quiet Uptown makes me cry. Every. Single. Time. Like I couldn’t listen to it when my roommate was in our dorm because I would start tearing up in front of her. That song is just so darn emotional.
Count me in as a fan. It’s incredible! I too would like to actually see it on Broadway, but getting tickets is next to impossible. I live a train ride away from NYC, so I might end up trying the digital lottery several times this Summer. Sadly the digital lottery is tough, because they only have about 21 lottery tickets available per performance.
Casting Lin is basically the only reason I would want to see a new version of Mary Poppins!

Same though. I love Emily Blunt too, but Lin is gonna make that movie fantastic.
And yes, The Schuyler Sisters is ALWAYS relatable. This weekend, I just realized that my youngest brother is the “And Peggy” of the family. Oops…
Hurricane is my obsession of the week though. The line “Total strangers/Moved to kindness/by my story” is just really getting to me lately.Also! Did ya’ll see the Rent Ham4Ham with Adam Pascal??? That video brings me so much happiness.

I’m also excited that Lin is doing the music for Moana! You just know that his music for that film will be great!
