OMG that would be perfect. I really hope they incorporate at least a Character from Tangled. 🙂
And I think maybe they will go with the Flynn and not the Prince version if they do it. They have a lot of princes already so it would be a little different to have the excon turned Prince… although I guess that could also be used with Aladdian

They introduced Maleficent in the 2nd episode and in the last episode when Snow, Granny, Red and the dwarves were about to attack, the fairies flew in for air cover, There were three of them in front a pink, blue and green. So to me it looks like they are suggesting they will introduce the Sleeping Beauty story. I think it will fit because I believe Maleficent is an important person to Regina’s story.

Those are two stories they can easily start telling. Regina did mention to Rumple about helping her with a mermaid. They already introduced Maleficent and if my theory about Princess Abigail being Sleeping Beauty it can work because they already have the characters with incomplete stories.

I hope Abigail is not Sleeping Beauty. But that’s just because Abigail isn’t my favorite and Sleeping Beauty is my all-time favorite. As a little girl, I fell in love with Aurora in her blue dress (no pink for me 😀 ) and Prince Phillip was probably one of my first crushes. He was just the best Disney prince. And in the Disney version, Maleficent is the most bad-*** evil character there ever was. The only one to scare me almost as much was Cruella DeVille. I somehow didn’t buy her laissez-faire attitude to Regina in the beginning of the series when we saw her. She was just so much more evil than Snow White’s queen in the movies. Maybe with her coming back we’ll see a new direction for season two.

I just have high hopes for Phillip and Aurora. They made me love Snow and Charming, when I didn’t care for them in the Disney movie. Or it will be the opposite and I’ll hate them in the show. Who knows.

Josephine I agree with you completely! Maleficent is IMO the most bad-*** evil character and I always found her more evil and scarier than the EQ from Snow White. I thought the Step mother in Cinderella was evil but then she is voiced by the same actress who voiced Maleficent (I think Cinderella came first). I would love to see Maleficent more, and more true to the evil movie version. And Prince Philip out Prince’s Prince Charming any day.
