Archie x Regina….?

So, the brief scene between Archie and Regina seemed too random and brief to be in there pointlessly. Do you think the writers are setting them up to somehow be involved (if not romantically)?

Archie and Regina both have parents that dragged them into a life they didn’t want, so there is a certain understanding and sympathy to build on. And if Regina is trying to reform, I can’t think of anyone more suited to help.

It’s an interesting thought but I’m going to say no. I think he was there doing his job, trying to lend his ear so she can talk to someone.

I’d normally not entertain the idea. But the scene seemed so out of place that it stood out to me. Maybe they won’t be “together” but I do think it is significant. And this wouldn’t bethe first time Archie’s been shipped with a “bad” girl. Archie x Red is a thing.

ARCHIE was HENRY’s shrink… that would be conflict of interest in the real world but since this is SB and they are short of shrinks…. I think Archie attempted contact because he felt he could be of help.

No I do not think they would link Regina and Archie…. personalities are diametrically opposed. … do NOT they are each other’s happy ever after.

Ok, he Was Henry’s shrink…fair enough. I still won’t let go of this theory until it’s disproven by death or canon.

I don’t think any other couples we know of have opposing personalities ::cough:: Rumbelle ::cough::

I kind of see Regina walking all over Archie in a relationship (even if she did redeem herself and wasn’t so ‘evil’ anymore). In Rumbelle – Belle at least called him out (and left him….for maybe an hour 😕 ) when he was out of line. All in all – relationships between opposite can be very entertaining/interesting as long as no one is treated like a doormat. I can’t see Regina respecting Archie. Maybe something may arise that changes this (who can tell with this show!) But, as of right now, I think Archie could do better. And I think Regina could still meet someone able to challenge the person she’s become.

I imagine there won’t be a romance between them, but therapy sessions now that Regina wants to be redeemed. Oh to be a fly on the wall for those sessions: “Now, Regina, tell me about your parents…”
