I didn’t so much throw things, as much as my jaw was ON THE FLOOR for the last 10 minutes of the whole thing.
THIS! I’d called a few things from promos and spoilers, but when that purple smoke started billowing all over the place because Rumple was bringing back the magic…I had NOT seen that coming, so I was all wide eyed and open mouthed. 😮

Their reunion felt unrealistic. That Belle wouldn’t be angry. Though at least she was in a haze in Storybrooke and wasn’t stuck down there going insane remembering for 28 years. And where are the two of them going to go now. I think that people won’t be able to leave town otherwise everyone would just leave town.
Exactly. their feeling towards each other doesn’t feel genuine. It just not look like someone saw a dead girl friend coming back to life. Belle didn’t look like she has been locked away for 28 years at all. And when she remembered, I can’t believe she just simply said “I love you”, given everything she went through. Just doesn’t feel right.

I really wanted Henry to say “i love you too mom” and he didn’t.
Actually he did. Those were his first words upon awakening.

Not really. I’m actually kind of happy. This is episode was amazing! It gave me everything that I wanted. Emma finally believes, Belle and Rumpel reunited, Jefferson was in it, Regina was defeated but not entirely, and MAGIC IS COMING!!!
I’m with you, and I even cheered for Charming when he attempted his escape from Regina. After all those weeks of David being such a loser, I was happy for his role as PC in FTL. I still don’t understand why Gold didn’t kiss Belle before dropping that vial in the well. He should have at least gotten one kiss in before bringing back the magic. But maybe it would have kept him from getting what he wanted first — power. I wonder if he will ever realize that true love would be the most powerful magic of all for himself. Maybe giving into his love for Belle would make him more powerful and set things right concerning his being the Dark One. Maybe he would no longer be the Dark One, but the Enlightened One 😛

He deserved to see his daughter again after everything and I waited for it, but it never came. I hope we at least get to see the two of them together and happy next season.
P.S. That must be kind of scary for Grace. She’s having dinner and POOF! AH YOU’RE NOT MY PARENTS!!!!

I think we have to remember that will be a season 2! 😉 They didn’t solve every situation – although I liked they solve a lot of them, instead of letting things we were already dying to know, hanging to the next season.
I’m looking forward to see the reunion between Jefferson and Grace, but I think there will be turmoil around it – the last time they saw each other, Jefferson told her he would be right back and vanished. We also don’t know what happened to Grace between that and the curse – who knows? maybe someone else’s story will be ‘played’ by her (kind of like Rumple and the Beast…), there are so many stories with little girls… =]May 14, 2012 at 5:48 pm #146739bigredParticipant@Arjay369 wrote:
There are now fairy tale characters in the real world with memories intact and magic to boot!
My head is still spinning! The implications of this are huge! Does this mean that Gold will now become the Dark One again? His knife will have power! Ruby will be able to turn into a wolf! Regina will be able to rip beating hearts out of people chests in broad daylight…so much good fun now! But I’m guessing they still won’t be able to leave Storybrooke..that the magic will be contained somehow. Argh!!! Too many things to think about! That’ll keep us busy till Season 2…
May 14, 2012 at 6:13 pm #146746hjbauParticipantI don’t think Grace will be too scared if she woke up with those people because they were Jefferson’s neighbors in fairytale land. It isn’t like they are complete strangers.
May 14, 2012 at 7:44 pm #146769weedithParticipantI don’t want to be labeled a hater, and I held off commenting right away, but I was disappointed with the finale. It has been mentioned a few places, it all seemed REALLY rushed. It would have been a fine finale if the show had been cancelled and they wanted to wrap up loose ends before they were done. But there is every reason to believe they have at least another season to work with. Specific issues:
Emma’s conversion was so sudden as to be laughable. I get that she was traumatized by Henry’s collapse, but I’m thinking I would be airlifting the kid to Mass. General for neurological testing before going with the diagnosis of CURSE. No MRI? No blood tests? Not even a cursory exam of the thing he ate immediately before collapsing? Instead, Emma goes right from, “Y’all are crazy with this curse thing,” to, “Sure, I’ll take a sword and go by myself down a loooooong elevator shaft and fight a dragon (in my high heels) in order to get a golden egg out of her middle because there is a bottle of true love in the egg which will heal my son from his mysterious ailment.” Or did holding the book, which she has held before, give her the flashbacks to things she has never seen and cause her to believe?
Rumple and Belle. This has been a big buildup and mystery as to how Regina was going to play the trump card and SHE DIDN’T EVEN PLAY IT!!! Jefferson decided to send Belle to Gold instead of taking her because…….? Just hoped she would figure out how to find her way around Storybrooke without being seen and without running into Regina, whose son is in the same hospital.
And Mr. Gold who was so worried that Bae would still be angry with him, didn’t even occur to him that Belle might still be angry? And why wasn’t she angry? Or at least a little bit hesitant? Or at least questioning as to whether this well-dressed gentleman was her lost grey-skinned love? I was looking forward to that reunion and, other than some nice acting by Carlyle, it just seemed to get passed by in the whirlwind of plot developments of the last 15 minutes of the show.
I feel like the Griswalds European vacation
“Look kids. Big Ben. Parliament.”I need to watch again and hopefully it will grow on me. Right now, I’m a bit let down.
