So i was just searching the Hookriel tag on tumblr because I hadn’t done that in a while, and I came across these posts from a week ago…

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!Thank **** she isn’t going to be like 15. Early to mid-twenties baby! Look in the casting call sometimes they use codenames so there won’t be spoilers. They do it all the time for Doctor Who (remember Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who). Conspiracies I tell ya.
The thing that leads me to believe that it’s Ariel is that they are looking for a redhead, someone who is willing to dye their hair but is preferably a natural redhead. And the fact they’ve added in the part about dying hair leads me to believe she is gonna be appearing a lot. I mean they could just put a wig on her like they do with Ginny when she’s Snow but why dye their hair specifically? Because my girl is gonna be recurring (hopefully). I hope she’ll be a natural ginger, hopefully Holland Roden or Karen Gillan then again it’s just wishful thinking.

SpoilerTV had it up on their site a few hours ago but I checked again a while ago and it says that it was requested to be brought down by ABC studios and now the post is nowhere to be seen. We’re doing a big manhunt for it over the forums.
I haven’t investigated any further to see if it’s legit, or if anyone copied, pasted and saved whatever was apparently on SpoilerTV, but now I’m desperately curious!

It may be a conspiracy. It seems a wee bit early, doesn’t it? Unless she’s in the first episode of S3, which begins shooting in July. Then that would make sense.

How late did they start filming season 2 if that casting call was only doing the rounds in late July?
Anyway, yes, I imagine it’d be possible that they’d be on the hunt for an Ariel now if they start filming mid-July and she’ll be early on in the season, which, given the mermaid anvils in the last 2 eps, is probably a reasonably safe bet.

I agree. I’d go back to the earliest casting calls we got as MAP were the first ones.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Interesting. Glad if they want to give her relationship potential for anybody they’re not making her 15 though. With every other story aged up so far it makes sense that she wouldn’t be the one random teenager around.
This will please the Hookriels (still waiting see how they actually portray her / whether there’s chemistry / the whole…they were both in Neverland and he didn’t give up his revenge quest until Emma came along etc issue.
After studying the season finale I’m pretty sure my CaptainSwan ship still has a chance but even though seeing Ariel will launch a ton of Hookriel stuff since it’s already been started, I’m still excited to actually SEE Ariel regardless of whether we meet Eric (or his equivalent etc etc) anytime soon. I think we should definitely see her a bunch since they mention dying it so that’s good and makes sense given the theory that she’s connected to Neverland! Can’t wait!
Wow was Neal’s casting call really that late into it? I guess they only needed him for the first 2 mins of the first ep but wow. Yeah I’d check the MAP casting dates to be sure cause that seems odd. Wonder what name they’re casting her under too, that’s always interesting.

Didn’t H and K approach MRJ though? I thought he was like Sebastian, they went to him instead of putting out a casting call. I could be wrong though.

He’s in his 20s or 30s, charismatic, sexy and mysterious, but also loyal and kind, and he’s running from his past in a land full of danger.
It actually wouldn’t surprise me if they already have someone in mind for their Ariel, but even if so, as with Neal, there’d still be a casting call.
Now, casting call dates for MAP…looks like the girls were around about June 18. Hmmm.
