I never heard of this mirror to see the outside world only the mirror that Regina had where or what episode explained this mirror?

In the Disney version, and some others, the Beast gives Belle a magical mirror when she leaves. In The Little Mermaid at one point, we see Ariel with a hand mirror, also. Just theories of connecting dots that probably won’t come about, but it’s nice to ponder and theorize.

But that is Belle and the Beast not the mermaid two different stories, but I understand what you are saying now thank you 😛

I don’t think the mirror will be used in this Mermaid story, if that was case then Regina could still use hers and talk to the genie.

I don’t know about that last part. The genie was in the mirror in FTL but he was a real person in SB. And Regina used him like she used her magic mirror in FTL, Sydney being her investigative reporter at the SB Mirror. And when magic came, he did not go back into the mirror, but remains locked up in the basement. So it’s really two different situations.

Objects don’t belong to just one story in OUAT. The apple was the property of the blind witch before Regina took it. So the mirrors in Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast could be a matching pair. It would be an easy way to have the crew in NL communicate with SB if the other mirror is in Gold’s shop.

I think that idea with the mirror is really reaching in my opinion. Especially, since there really wouldn’t be any reason to communciate to anyone in SB.

Maybe. But we need some way for the folks in NL to communicate with the folks in SB. We have characters in three different locations. Most of us think that those in NL and those in FTL can communicate through the Red Room, but we need someway for NL to talk to SB and the mirror is just a theory. Rumple has tons of items in his shop that we haven’t seen yet and it’s an important item from the Band the B story, plus appears in Little Mermaid. It’s just fun to speculate.

I disagree on one point: it is important to communicate with people in SB. The mirror would let the people on the ship know that the other people they love in SB (Belle, Archie, Ruby, Granny, Team 7, etc) are all safe and sound. Every person on that ship cares about somebody they left behind, not to mention the fact that Rumple doesn’t seem to think they’ll come back (I think he’s being silly and depressed but still) so if they were to find a mirror and be able to communicate it could put their minds at ease about the loved ones they left behind for sure.

The people in SB are still important and RG is right, objects don’t really belong to any one story in OUAT-world so I could see the mirror being something that bridges the gap between stories. It’s one of the reasons many of us believe we’ll see Ariel in Neverland, because we already know that mermaids exist there in Mermaid’s Lagoon.

I didn’t get that idea that Rumble think he is going to die, I never read that into any conversation at all. If you think they need to communicate in SB, and it isn’t because of the rest of the group from FL is there I think most of you still want to have Rumble and Belle talking to each other the rest of the group Granny, etc got along find without Snow etc. Plus they do have the BF which has magic more then what I can say about Mulan and Aurora.

I believe that is it is a little unfair to Mulan and Aurora that no one cares if there is any communication with them to me this seems really one sided in my opinion if anyone needs help and communcation I think it should be Aurora and Mulan after all at the end they did help Snow and Emma to get back home, and now they are really on there own I am sure they could use some help more then SB does in my opinion. but how did Aurora say it to Cora “We will see” 😎
