One of the women in the background is wearing a very Jasmine-esque outfit. It’s the right colour as well. Literally, it could used as the outfit for the Once version of Jasmine.

My guess is the women are wearing knee-length dresses to accentuate the fact that Ariel now has legs and wants to show them off to Eric.

Did you see the Jasmine outfit in the image slurpeez?
I noticed it. She does look Jasmine-esque in the outfit. But the actress appears to be Caucasian and blonde. I think Jasmine is far more likely to appear in WL
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I’m going to guess the “Jasmine” is just an effect of costume department on a budget, as that’s a standard Sari, and you can get fairly elaborate ones off-the-rack (at least I saw that in the bay area, south of San Francisco you could, can only imagine Vancouver the same). It’s actually South Asian in design more than the middle-eastern influence of the Aladdin story.
I’d love though if they could lay in some hints for Jafar, because if WL fails, I want them to bring Jafar on Once. I hope it doesn’t fail though!
I think these two look very cute together, and cannot wait to see this with all the music and such. I loved the dance sequence they had with Cora too (though I was alone in not really loving the red dress).
