Can I just take a moment…because over the last couple of days I’ve seen so many gifs of that kiss…and it makes me melt how they’re both smiling right up until the moment their lips lock.
There are things in the trailer that kick me in the FEELS in a painful way. Like the stuff about Digg and Oliver not having each other’s backs any more, DON’T TOUCH ME BECAUSE IT HURTS! And Oliver and Thea fighting each other because she’s got the post-Pit crazies and IT MUST KILL OLIVER TO HAVE TO FIGHT HER. And there are parts that make me want to cheer, like that shot of Team Arrow dropping down through that roof, THEY ARE AWESOME WORDS I CAN’T SAY ON THIS FORUM. And Black Canary slamming bad guys, YES LAUREL I’M SO PROUD I COULD CRY.
But that smiley kiss just makes me melt into a puddle of goo every time I see a gif of it.
Yes, yes, yes! Take that moment because I have being likewise. Oliver looks *so happy.* Like, content and at peace and it’s wonderful and then….it’s all going to be painful again I’m sure (though, can it be more painful than S3????) but he’s all domesticated and suburban and so so so so happy. Ugh. I cannot.
And then the Digg/Ollie feels kinda make me want to lay down and die.

I’m pretty confident that it’s all gonna be OK this season. Like you said, how can it really get worse than last season, because, like, he “died” and stuff. I think the relationship drama will come from her being the one who really wants to get back into the crime fighting, and him not being as into it, and how do they deal with that and work together as well as being a couple. But considering they survived “death” last season, I think they’ll come through this OK.

This season….Oliver has to find his long lost son!!!! Then again….is Oliver technically ready to be a father figure for anyone? I’m still amazed that Moira literally took that secret to her grave!!!

Stephen’s said he’d like to see Oliver find out about the kid. Guggenheim has said they’re not planning to do Connor Hawke ever. When questioned further he said that that character is mixed race, and the mother of Oliver’s child in the show was white, so no Connor on the show. So who knows when, how or if they plan to re-visit that story line.
