In the price of gold, she establishes her age as 19. But then she goes out drinking at a bar in Skin Deep. So how old is she?
Well i think she is 19 and they just fudged the drinking age.
SOME STATES have different drinking age… ie 18yrs…. Theory is if you can fight for your country you can drink leagaly.
That isn’t true. The federal drinking age is 21 for the buying of alcohol which is what Ashley did. The differences from state to state only have to do with consuming alcohol meaning in some states you can consume alcohol, but not buy it.

She could have lied to Emma about being 19; might be self-conscious about being 21, or some reason like that.

I think fudging the drinking age is the best way to go. It isn’t as if this is really our world, so i have no issue with it at all.
Also, in reality Ashley is 19 + 28 years. The only person not old enough to drink in Storybrooke is Henry. 😆

Who cares? She’s friends with the Sheriff.
Not me. As i said, i am fine with them fudging the drinking age a bit. It is a fake world after all.
Underage characters drink in tv shows all the time. I just figured that was what was going on.
