I think it makes sense for Gideon to not be there. He got a second chance, and he put his life together. Now he’s — I don’t remember, something requiring a respectable education — and he probably has people who depend on him, at least through his job and maybe in his personal life. He and they deserve better than for him to drop everything and travel to deal with yet more fallout from his family member’s addiction problem.

My only stipulation, though, would be that it has to be about both Belle and Nealfire. I’m really tired of them hammering Rumple wanting to get back to Belle and completely ignoring the Nealfire sized hole in the room (something the writers have successfully been doing for 4 years)

This. Them continuing to just talk about Rumpel getting back to Belle just keeps bringing up the huge mistake of getting rid of Bae and they keep saying it over and over again. Also, i forgot about Gideon, but Rumpel should care about his second son since he spent centuries trying to get back to his first son.
