I would be in two minds about it. I stated previously that I would like to see it, but I would be irked that the EQ part of Regina had to be physically removed for TLK to happen.

I wonder if they are going to have to reunite the heart in order to properly break the curse.
As in one of them sacrifices themselves for the other? Possibly. Not sure how Snowing would choose who gets to live seeing as they can’t have a conversation. Maybe family would have to make this decision for them.
Still, the can easily be broken by simultaneous TLK. This seems more elegant. (Albeit too easy).

I have a theory, or an idea of how I would like this curse to be resolved:..
I think that when one is under the sleeping curse one is NOT in the burning room, like where the Charmings met when they were in that other dream place. Because,, In season 1 when Evil Queen Regina gave Snow the apple with the curse, she said something about what would happen to Snow, and It was something like- She would go to “A place with dreams formed of your own regrets”.. Maybe they both regret something, that they did to each other and they both kind of regret something from the same situation. You know, like when couples are fighting over something and you both regret saying this and that to the other person in the heat of fighting.. This can also be the untold story of how the Charmings almost broke up and went separate ways.. Then they have to “find each other” in the dream about that situation,, forgive each other and kiss inside the dream. And then the curse is broken.

If the writers follow their own world building, then each of them grappling with their own regrets would be an elegant solution. However, to handle the regrets involving each other, they both would need to be awake at the same time for conversations/apologies to take place. I guess they can leave each other notes 😉

I meant that they needed to find eachother INSIDE their dreams. So they both need to be asleep at the same time (Maybe Regina can brew some kind of sleep potion for that to happen)
Not sure if you guys have ever seen this movie from the ’80 called Ladyhawke, but in it, the 2 lovers were cursed where 1 was a hawk during the day and the other was a wolf at night by a jealous evil bishop, so they would forever be apart. To break the curse they come before the bishop during a solar eclipse in their true human forms – this act defeats the bishop & he is then easily vanquished. The curse enacted by EQ reminded me very much of this plot twist. Maybe the way to break this sleeping curse & defeat EQ is similar. Somehow there is a way for both Charmings to wake at the same time in front of the EQ and thereby defeat her; maybe even she would then poof, be vanquished, or some variation thereof as she would never be able to extract her revenge which is her sole driving purpose for existing

We have already seen that interactions in a dream state can affect the waking state, so yes this could work 🙂

This makes sense. They take out each heart half, reunite them, place inside of one person, and before the other dies, he/she lays a TLK on the other one, and they awaken. Maybe with some quickness, they can take the cured heart, split again, and save the other, but this sounds exactly like a heroic thing one of them would chose to do. Sacrificing themselves to save the other. I like it even though I know A&E probably wont do it and even if they did, that neither one of them would die.
