Back to the Future Easter Eggs, Hints and Nods

I actually thought that the end of “Going Home” with Hook randomly showing up at Emma’s doorstep with a warning about her family being in danger was a callback to the end of the first Back to the Future film. At the end of Back to the Future, Doc Brown abruptly shows up in front of Marty and tells him he has to go back to the future with him because “it’s something to do with your kids.”

Just thought of another possible reference. The Ursula Ball in “Ariel” is called the Under the Sea Dance. While it is a reference to the song, it could also be a reference to the Enchantment Under The Sea Dance from Back to the Future.

That is a very good is a very good catch MatthewPaul! I think there has been more damage done than was apparent. I am looking forward to Season 4!
