Yes, Neverland definitely has magic- there are fairies! Tinker Bell isn’t the only one- she’s just the only one who hangs around Peter. There are also children who never grow up. And don’t forget flying by pixiedust. That all counts as magic. It may be more limited than what we see in the enchanted forest, but it’s still there.

If the curse and Bae came through at the same time, then Bae would keep ageing like August and Emma because he wasn’t IN storybrook, even if he was originally of that world. I think that after centuries of Rumple desperate for a do-over, he would jump at the chance to have his son back at all, even if that meant he was almost thirty years older then the last time they saw each other.
September 18, 2012 at 4:45 pm #154052gypsyParticipantGoldenkey- you’re right about what BF said to Ba. This is part of the transcript from “The Return” :
(The Blue Fairy tosses him a transparent looking bean.)
Baelfire: What is it?
Blue Fairy: A magic bean. The very last one that is known to our kind. The others got away from us. You just use it wisely, and follow wherever it leads you. It will save you both.
(The Blue Fairy disappears. Baelfire returns home.)So she says the others ‘got away’ from us…if Bae went to neverland, he meets up with Tinkerbell, she’s got one of the beans…he uses it to leave Neverland for a land without magic…maybe he spent all his time trying to find his father as Rumple spent trying to find Bae.
September 18, 2012 at 5:04 pm #154053TheGoldenKeyParticipantI agree Gypsy. Never thought about Tinker having one of those missing beans before. Good point.
Faux Pas, I hear what you’re saying but that would mean Bae would end up as a 42 year old (14+28). However, I can’t help but feel he’ll end up the same age as Emma. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a twist on Peter Pan, in that Henry ends up being this character. After all, recent spoilers have said we’ll explore Rumple’s past with Capt. Hook. Perhaps Hook & Peter’s (Henry) first encounter ends up in SB and I’m open to that theory. Maybe Bae ends up as the Wizard of OZ. as the spoiler also states “there is an element of surprise for Emma as to the fullness of who this man is.” However, I still prefer that Bae will end as Peter Pan/Henry’s father;
Keeper of Pandora's Box & The Yellow Brick Road.
September 18, 2012 at 5:34 pm #154054faux paxParticipantHonestly, I’m less interested in who (if anybody) is Peter. What I am dying to see is, when it is revealed that Bae is Henry’s father, what will that do to Rumple and his relationship with both Bae and Henry. Think about it. He’s the one who got Henry for Regina. I can totally see him knowing Henry was Emma’s kid and using that as a way to eventually drawl Emma in to storybrook. BUT i doubt he would have given him over if he knew Henry was his grandson. I don’t see him doing that; it’s just not in his character… especially since he knew what kind of person Regina was (she did kill Henry sr.). I’ll accept the fact that he can see the future, but there has to be at least some things that are out of his reach. And i kind of hope this is one of them.
That revelation would be epic. And Robert could so pull it off. Plus, if Bae found out and didn’t believe Rumple didn’t know… well, now with all the Rumple/Bae build up, they can’t have their issues resolved too quickly, now can they? Mwhahaha
September 18, 2012 at 5:53 pm #154055gypsyParticipantI don’t see how Mr. Gold could’ve known that Henry was Emma’s kid when he got him for Regina. He didn’t even know who Emma was, at first. In a live podcast, back in May or June, K&H said Mr. Gold only got his memories back when he heard Emma say her name at Granny’s B&B- which goes directly with the flashback when Rumplestiltskin was in the dungeon and PC and SW went to see him and he was so adamant about knowing their unborn child’s name.
September 18, 2012 at 6:21 pm #154056faux paxParticipantI’d almost think he would have to somehow. Otherwise it would have been just way too much of a coincidence that of all the children he got for her, it would be Emma’s. Even if it was just subconsciously. Besides, i doubt he would design the curse to leave him completely both memory-less and powerless. He would have had to put a loophole in there somewhere that gave him something.
September 18, 2012 at 6:36 pm #154058gypsyParticipantExactly- a loophole- or, as Mr. Gold put it, a safety valve. Just like the true love potion, hearing Emma’s name was one, too. Something else was probably the trigger for him to know which child was the right one to bring to Regina (without knowing who he was, exactly). I wouldn’t be surprised to find out Rumplestiltskin put something in the curse to make sure ‘the savior’ got pregnant when she did, so that Henry would be born when he was and even be able to be adopted when he was…that was no coincidence, either.
September 18, 2012 at 6:41 pm #154059faux paxParticipantBut he wouldn’t know about Bae being the other part of the equation! Think about it.
September 18, 2012 at 6:58 pm #154061gypsyParticipantIf he added it as a ‘safety valve’ he would.
