And someone also mentioned that he was a firefighter. Baelfire=Firefighter. A HAH!
OMG! Great insight…i can totally see the writers plugging in that “firefighter” tidbit to reference Bael”fire”! Maybe since both Baelfire and Emma are from FTL, they would be mysteriously attracted to each other.
I wonder how Gold got tuned into the fact that Emma was having a baby that he would need to bring into SB…as the only way Emma would have a reason to stay in SB. Gold must have had some outside contact…i hope they give us that backstory sometime in the future.
Yeah, that’s the thing I’m trying to figure out. You’d think that Mr. Gold would know that his own son was Henry’s father. Hmm…that’s the only hole in the theory that makes me doubt it. 😕
But then again, would he really? A lot of people have been speculating that maybe Mr. Gold hadn’t always had his fairytale land memories. Maybe his memories all came rushing back to him when he heard Emma’s name. Maybe that’s why he was so obsessed with getting her name from Snow and Charming before the curse was cast. So, if Mr. Gold didn’t remember who he was before Emma came to town, then he obviously wouldn’t have known who his son was. He probably didn’t even know that he had a son.
Maybe Baelfire is the one who remembers. Maybe it was he who sent Henry to Storybrooke. It would be pretty interesting if it was Baelfire, not Mr. Gold, who set this whole thing up. It may have even been Baelfire who gave MM the book. Ooo! I might be onto the something…
I like this theory. I like the idea of Baelfire developing some if father’s planning skills. Baelfire, the tiny genius. 😀 😆
I hope we at least get a little more info about Baelfire before the season ends. Maybe the Blue Fairy knows something. She seems to remember what’s going on. August said that “a little fairy” told him about Rumpel’s dagger. Hopefully, she’ll reveal one or two little sentenses of info about what happened to him.

I’ve latched onto the “Baelfire is Henry’s Father” theory. Now, I’m going to be disappointed if he isn’t. 😆 In any case, I hope we get to see the young actor again. He was great. 😀

Oh, really? 😮 Wow, that is a pretty big clue. I think our crackpot theory might be right. 😆

God point. 😉 I hope you’re right too. I’d hate for the show to get too tangled up in the rules of time travel.
April 24, 2012 at 7:37 pm #143749hjbauParticipantThough i am not a fan of time travel, as long as they don’t travel back in time and change something, then they don’t have to worry too much about it. If it is just this one hop by one character then they can get away with it without causing too many issues.

I agree. 😉 As long as the time traveling doesn’t reverse or undo something from the past, then I’ll be fine. I don’t want any of the current storylines to be in vain. 🙁
April 24, 2012 at 8:11 pm #143758hjbauParticipantExactly. I hate it when they erase the timeline. Though in LOST they did time travel, but the characters did not change the past. There is no reason, in my opinion, for them to do any of that in ONCE.
April 24, 2012 at 8:44 pm #143764PriceofMagicParticipantI think Baelfire could be dead. He went through the portal to a land without magic centuries before the curse took effect. Of course it could be argued that he travelled through time but it would be more tragic if he was dead. Just imagine, everything Rumpel has done from the moment Bae disappeared was to get Bae back. He got more power, he created a curse, for 28 years he’s been stuck in Storybrooke and still no Baelfire. He thought August was his son and he got his hopes up but it was not to be. Rumpel blamed the blue fairy for taking his son and didn’t like it when she told him that he drove Baelfire away. Rumpel has been fixated on getting Baelfire back but perhaps it is already too late. His cowardice has really cost Rumpel the things he loved most and he has laid the blame on other people (blue fairy for baelfire/Belle’s father for Belle) rather than himself. The only way Rumpel will become human again is if he learns to let go of Baelfire which means letting go of his power which is what Baelfire wanted in the first place, for Rumpel to become human again.
All magic comes with a price!
