ParticipantI was told that they would be dwelling on the repercussions of Neal’s death and how this affects Rumple and that more will be explained. Not sure that I can trust this information and even if it is correct, I also know that K&H told NF fans to have hope for the finale in regards to how crushed we were re: Neal’s death. Well, we all know how that turned out as K&H seem to have little understanding of what hope meant for NF fans.
As much as I want to believe…. Rumple not dwelling wouldn’t make sense, so that’s not surprising. But as far as the rest of the characters, I just don’t have enough faith that anyone will remember that Neal’s dead.
I dont even think Rumple will be dwelling, i mean, he was free of Zelena, did many things and bot even to his son grave he went. He will be to busy with the Elsa thing and then with belle and dagger problems, and from emilie said maybe thinking in another child, so no time to think about Bae/Neal.
And Hnery pretty much wont even remenber he had a father. So is like i saidbefore, if the blood connections dont remenber, why would the others that didnt care about him would.

ParticipantI think Neal would be the baby for the new season, they want general viewers to forget Neal, so its easier to mix things up with the baby being name Neal.
Rumple may have a few moments of my boy but soon will pass.
Emma I don’t see really thinking about him at all now because Neal has to be separated from her as not being that significant or something in the past.
Henry not sure, Jared wants more time with Robert, and more Rumple and Henry and that’s when Neal might be brought up the most. But really I don’t think they want Henry to really care about his dead dad, I think they want Henry in the middle of mom vs mom who both having issues with romance as well.
Snowing will only dwell on baby Neal.
Hook could care less
In all I think they want audience to forget about Neal and you can’t have that with reference of him throughout the series. So maybe 1, 2 references in the beginning and that’s it.
I know with Tasha Yar she was remember up to the ending.

KeymasterSnowing probably won’t be affected because Neal wasn’t in their important social circle.
Their daughter and grandson are. And Snow and Charming both really liked him. So I think they’re going to be affected. Death doesn’t have to touch you directly. It can affect you by affecting others.

ParticipantThis will probably be a controversial question.
Do you think Baelfire was wrong to go to the Blue Fairy for help and was the Blue Fairy wrong to give Baelfire the magic bean without speaking to Rumple first?

No. Rumpel was in a very bad place, a very dark place. A place his son didn’t want him to be in. And in a way, Blue just gave him an option. Rumpel wasn’t forced to do use the bean, it was a choice and one he backed out on. If Blue or Bae had just pushed rump down the portal I would say they were wrong but Bae gave him the choice, Rump said yes, and then backed out. So basically no, they didn’t do anything wrong at all

ParticipantWell Bae going to Blue Fairy asking for help is sort like a child praying to God to help their parents who dealing with an addiction. If Angel came to answer their prayer and the child tried to help their parents secretly. I wouldn’t see that as wrong, sad that the child is trying so hard to fight for their parents. Heck some children have took matters in their own hands and seek help for their parents and they end up being removed or separated from them.
Bae and Rumple spoke of this at the family table, memory is rusty here, but didn’t Bae asked his father if they can break the curse or find a way to help Rumple would he do it. Rumple said it was a deal. So Bae set out his quest to help save his father. Rumple was scared to go through the portal, scared to lose his powers. I guess he was afraid he would lose Bae just like he lost his father but the same thing happen again. And this time in a strange world he will have no power to keep him. There was a point that Bae was trapped inside the house. Because Rumple was scared to lose him.
Now Blue I’m not sure what her motives where so I can answer that. But I guess she could told Rumple the truth. But I’m not sure if Rumple would go with Bae even knowing the truth. I think bottom line Rumple at that time didn’t want to lose his power so he would still say no. Except I think Rumple would destroyed the bean. But of course if that happen there would be no show. 😀

No Bae was not wrong. When someone you love is in danger, you do what you need to do. Rumple was KILLING people. I’d do whatever I could for the safety of the village and for the sanity of my father.
Because Blue is basically deus ex fairy, she is neither right nor wrong. She simply does what the writers need her to do in order to move plot.

Absolutely not! Bae had every right to go to Sneaky Blue, even though she probably made matters worse, but thankful because Neal met Emma! 🙂
Although…I still think Blue is Sneaky Blue!
But….my question is…what do you think Neal’s role would have been in S4 had he lived?
I think that he could have served as a mediator between his son’s mothers. Neal could have been the person Henry turned to in this situation he’s about to face, and could have possibly helped mend the tear in Regina and Emma’s friendship. No one knows Emma better than Neal, and Regina and Neal have sooooo much in common/almost siblings, so Neal could have been a great deal of help in S4!
