This is just from an article. The writer has added in the rest. Sorry, but I don’t believe anything I hear/read unless it is specifically stated by the directors/cast/writers.

I’d go further–if they don’t put it in the show, then it doesn’t count until they do. They do sometimes change their minds or one writer thinks one thing, and the actor thinks another.
So while I wish I could find the source of what made me think Emma’s sacrifice was important somehow to Snow’s defense, it kind of doesn’t matter until there is a scene that supplies the answer.

I think the game changer is he turns Bae 14 again then takes Bae with him to Neverland so he never has to grow up.

For ep21, MRJ tweeted about filming at the beach, and I wondered if that may be a Neverland location, because SB isn't known for its beaches. If so, that would mean that adult Bae goes back to Neverland.

Possible. But there could be many other locations that beach was for. It could even be a flashback of Neal and Emma when they were together. Probably unlikely, but still possible.

Wow…that sure does sound like something Rumple would do. So you think that it is young Baelfire who is Rumples’ undoing?

No I think the seer said the boy who leads Rumple to his son would be his undoing so some how that stil has to happen

PriceofMagic : I like your theory about Rumple using the curse on Baelfire. That could very well be the ‘game-changer’. I had actually though that the ‘game-changer’ was Balfire finding out that Rumple killed his mother – unless he already knows.

Bae will find out about Rumple’s role in Milah’s death, he can’t not, however I think the game changer is going to be something that makes Bae feel that he can never forgive or trust Rumple again.

Finding out Rumple killed Milah is going to be shocking for Bae but Bae spent his entire childhood believing Milah to be dead. He would have mourned her and moved on with his life. Rumple maintained that lie right up until Bae had disappeared through the portal. Milah was never a mother to Bae like Rumple was a father to him. She preferred to spend most of her time out of the house and away from Bae leaving him home alone. Her presence in Bae’s life wasn’t as huge as Rumple’s was.

Finding out that Milah died after he’d gone through the portal, Bae is going to be mad at Rumple. However, at the same time, Milah had abandoned Bae. She could have come back anytime she wished but she didn’t. Also at the time of her death, Rumple was in full on dark one mode, so his actions were kind of par for the course of what Bae had seen him do, such as kill the mute maid and the snail guy.

Rumple has never used magic on Bae before so to do so now would make Bae feel violated. All magic comes with a price and the price for Rumple trying to force Bae to love him could be that he ends up potentially losing Bae for good. Also if Rumple tried anything against Henry, Bae may not trust or forgive his dad. Even if Rumple doesn’t carry through with his plan, the fact that he planned to make an attempt on Henry may be enough for Bae to want his father out of his life.

I think the game changer is going to be something that Rumple does in the present rather than something he did in the past.

All magic comes with a price!
