I hope they do. They have got to explain how Henry found his way to Storybrooke. They can’t just leave it open. Especially because we know Rumpel didn’t have his memories. I really like the idea that Emma had time with Henry as a baby and that her choice was what brought him to Storybrooke. Not that she would know the specific details of his locations, but yeah like you said a wealthy, educated, stable family who really wanted a child. And maybe she would even like the idea of a single mother because there could be no giving him back when she had a baby of her own like what happened to Emma.

Even though he was part of it, I thought he left and returned with Henry. Now, no ideas! Blue Fairy avoid curse, had memories, and brought Henry to town? Possible, but than she is a great actress and very manipulative. Hate the idea Baelfire (if he’s the father?) brought him. I’m all for Baelfire being a creep and an antagonist for awhile, but messing with your own son…doesn’t fit his backstory….

I think that she didn’t commit the crime in Worcester, she met the people in Worcester who she eventually committed the crime with. Buut the actual crime happened in Arizona.
I’m no expert in these matters, but if she was tried and jailed in Arizona, wouldn’t that mean that the crime happened in Arizona? But whatever happened obviously has its origin in Mass.
I’m going with something like, she’d been living in Arizona with her foster family, working in the diner, hooking up with Henry’s dad the married man. Her family went on a trip to Worcester and while she was there, she met someone associated with their friends, (maybe the family friends had troubled kids of their own), and they asked her to do something, let’s say they gave her some drugs to take back to Arizona for them. When Emma gets home, she doesn’t know what to do, is scared, needs help, goes to Henry’s dad for help because he’s the only adult who she trusts. He abandons her, maybe he’s even the one who turns her in to the authorities because she won’t leave him alone and he doesn’t want his wife finding out he’s been screwing around, so he wants Emma out of the way. Then she ends up in jail and that’s when she discovers she’s pregnant.

I’m still sticking to the Blue Fairy having set that up, unless and until they confirm she didn’t have her memories, which I really suspect she did. I think she’d kept tabs on Emma, knew she was pregnant, had a friendly word to the Mayor about it how it would enrich her life to adopt a child, then Regina went to Gold coz Rumple gets the babies, he then went to Mother Superior who’d be the one to know if there were orphans in town to be adopted, and she arranged for Henry to come to Storybrooke.
Emma is told that there’s someone who wants to adopt her baby. Adoption is different to the foster system she grew up and suffered in. Adoption means her baby will have a permanent, stable, safe home. That’s more than she ever had and more than she has to offer. I doubt she’d have to think too hard about doing what was best for the baby.
July 10, 2012 at 11:41 am #150394hjbauParticipantEmma was find right on the outskirts of Storyrbooke and was taken to Boston before she was adopted. I would find it highly unlikely that she would ever be in the foster care system in Arizona.

If the foster family she was living with in Massachusetts moved to Arizona, would she move with them or would she go to a different foster family in Mass.? I’m not sure how that works.
July 10, 2012 at 12:38 pm #150430hjbauParticipantWell Emma was adopted as a baby and lived with the same family until she was three. So if that family moved to Arizona then she would go with them. So that is a possibility. Though i think it seems like there is more evidence just because she was found in Maine, sent to Boston, and that the place where she visited Worcester when she got arrested was also in Mass so all of that seems like she was in the foster system in the Boston area. Also she was living in Boston again at the time of the Pilot. You are right thought. We don’t know for certain.
I still like the idea that she kept Henry for a few weeks. We will see though.

Technically, in a legal adoption, a social worker would have meet with Regina for questions and checked out her home. If she was trying to pass Gold off as a husband, he would have been present and….pretending to be an affectionate husband….OMGosh! This could possibly be the most hilariously-awkward scene that hasn’t been!
I wonder if he has some legal rights to Henry in this scenario, signed paperwork maybe? I’m so hooked on Rumple being his grandpa, I immediately go to this thought! I need help!July 10, 2012 at 8:14 pm #150729PriceofMagicParticipant@Lil’Red wrote:
