That’s a possibility, but unless Lana Parrilla was shooting with David Anders in an earlier scene, I think Dr. Whale was knocked down by Mr. Gold for hitting on Lacey or fell down on his own accord
I hope he fell down on his own. Do we really want Gold punching people? Even if it is for Lacy? Is that what is going to bring back Belle?? Defending her honor is fine but I’m not sure how Belle (or Lacy) would react to violence.
Punching? I can’t see him punching anybody. I’d think he would use his cain.

If Regina stays the Big Bad for the rest of the season which seems odd to me given that there are pics from 19 where she and Emma are sitting together on a bench then why are we going to Neverland?? And how does Greg fit in? I thought for sure Regina would mellow out by 20 and then the final two episodes would revolve around Greg/HER and the Outside world.
If I start thinking about it too much, it’ll make my head explode. 😆 They’ve got several big threads going on, and it’ll be interesting to see how they ultimately weave together.

We need those dialogue spoilers for this scene STAT.
March 14, 2013 at 1:24 pm #179879RumplesGirlKeymasterProbably with the cane-o-pain, but I think more broadly what I mean is: is that Rumple is going to win her back? He has to get Lacy to trust him, to believe that he is a good man and that they really mean something to each other. I understand him not liking Whale hitting on Lacy, but Lacy/Belle is a strong woman who can take care of herself (Yaougui for example) and I’m not sure how she’d react to that display of violence.

Let’s not go too wild on the Colin speculation. For all we know the scene he was supposed to shoot was rescheduled or delayed, or maybe he wasn’t actually supposed to be on the set at all. We don’t know the great inner workings of how this show works. I hesitate before taking anything Twitter reports seriously.
WORD!

If something did happen to Colin, or anybody else on the show (no speculations here, I’m just speaking in generalities), I do hope that if they desire respect, that they will be equally respectful of the hearts they invited themselves into. If anything were to ever happen to anybody on that show (God forbid), I don’t want for the poor little girls who have so much affetion for these people to be left feeling like somebody charmed themselves into their room (their heart), ransacked it, and then told them it’s their job to clean it up. ………….Exactly. I’m really starting to get mad at this guy.

I agree it isn’t very nice, but the calls are out there. My personal preference is that we get to keep Colin around on the show for a long, long time. Personally though, I’d rather have a Hook — any Hook — than no Hook.
As for respect: Nobody owes Colin O’Donoghue anything. Nobody owes Once Upon A Time anything. Colin O’Donoghue doesn’t owe his fans anything, except a “thank you”, and he did that at Paleyfest.
I’m just going to respond one more time, because I really think the fans have crossed a metaphorical line. It’s one thing to express your thoughts in an open forum like this to other fans, but it’s another thing eintirely for fans to behave in a rude manner to people who work as hard as the actors and producers. I believe fans do owe the actors and producers basic human decency and respect; these people work really hard to produce great television for us to enjoy. If it weren’t for them, fans wouldn’t even have this show to look forward to each week. Colin O’Donoghue couldn’t help that he broke his leg–an injury which probably even happened while filming. There is no reason to take out any anger or call for his resignation. He is now recovered and back to filming. No one, except the producers, production managers, crew and actors, knows the exact filming schedule. Just because Colin didn’t appear in a particular scene doesn’t mean he isn’t hard at work filming other scenes in a studio somewhere. It’s uncalled for a fan to whine just because he/she didn’t cross paths with him.

Also, neither Colin nor the producers are liable to the whims of the fans; some fans really love Captain Hook and others really don’t. Jane Espenson said in her most recent interview that she gets an equal number of tweets from fans threatening to stop watching the show if Hook and Emma become a couple as much as she receives tweets from fans threatening to stop watching if they don’t! The writers, producers and actors are not here to please every individual fan’s dreams; they are here to tell a great narrative. It is immature and rude to think and behave as if the world revolves around one’s own desires.
I happen to really like Colin O’Donoghue as Captain Hook, and I really don’t like it when actors are recast. It is less believable, and I think it’s better that Captain Hook be written out of the plot completely than be recast. Yet, if the producers decided to do just that, I wouldn’t tweet my threats to stop watching. I’m not saying you did this, but there are plenty of teenage fans who do this. In another recent interview, Jamie Dornan expressed his dismay over how rudely fans had treated Eddy and Adam after Graham’s death; some fans even made fake death-threats to Eddy and Adam. That isn’t just rude and hurtful; it’s deranged!

March 14, 2013 at 1:49 pm #179883RumplesGirlKeymasterOkay, I think we’ve all had our say about the Colin situation. Let’s take a few steps back and breathe? I have no doubt that Colin pics from 21 and 22 will surface soon seeing as it’s probably his backstory and a HUGE episode for him. Until then, let’s just talk about something else.
Now. Let’s talk about those spoiler pics?! Whale’s on the ground! Lacy is in an impossibly short skirt (and maybe the hottest shoes I’ve ever seen)! Rumple is beautiful! Emma and Neal are on a dock!

Eeew. That is deranged.

So what if Lacey is the one to knock him down? Whale does “like the ladies” so maybe he got too fresh. Still, I can’t see Victor Frankenstein being foolish enough to hit on Rumpel’s girl. He is now a combination character. She could also, however, hate him for her treatment in the hospital (constant drugging). He seems like the main/chief doctor there. I really hope he is not dying! But a punch–that would be ok.
I think Emilie joked in some interview that the Beast might rub off on the Beauty, rather than the other way around. I like the idea someone had in this thread that Rumpel has to reform her for a bit. Yes would be good character development for both!

That’s giving me visions of Walt Disney’s Belle with fangs, and I’m cracking up over here!

Omgosh! Please let Lacy punch Whale. I wanna see that. And I love Whale, but Lacy defending herself while Rumple watches makes me all kinds of happy.

I like that too. Rumple learns how to be a better man through teaching Lacy how to be a better person. They learn together! That’s really nice, and then once Lacy trusts him just enough they kiss and BOOM: Belle.
