I have to agree with RumbelleDearie. Seeing a lot of SB is going to be too much as we’ll be seeing:
FTL of the past
FTL of the present with Neal and MAP
NL of the past
NL of the present.
Seeing a lot of SB would be too much. I don’t get why they split her away. Didn’t they learn that they can’t separate the cast? They did that in the first half of this season and it was disjointed and confusing for causal viewers.

I’m not so sure that this is a “plot device”. While the other main characters are off to Neverland/FTL, I see a much larger role for Belle and Grumpy, becoming the leaders of the remaining Storybrooke residents.
But the BF could have done it. Which makes much more sense seeing as the BF is the most powerful magic in the land and Belle has never done magic.
I totally agree. I was so confused when Rumple gave Belle the directions for the spell and told her that she had to stay. Uh, she doesn’t do magic. Maybe he didn’t want to deal with Blue? Maybe he felt like he had to make a great sacrifice for Bae? I just don’t know. I was just MAD!!!

I’m so disappointed in how this ended. I’m excited to see them in NL, but leaving Belle behind ruined it for me.

still am mad. All my posts thus far on this thread have been about this because I’m just so upset.
Rumple assumes he is going to die and didn’t want Belle to be around for it. He told her he wasn’t coming back.

I understand that. But she could have convinced him otherwise. Or said she wasn’t going to be without him because she has already spent most of this year apart from him and I’m forcing what I want onto this character….
I think I need to go sit in a corner.

Not a good enough reason to basically demote EdR, IMO.

I’m going to put this here. I don’t know what this means for EdR or Belle, but I think we’re in for a long dry spell, Rumbellers.
He means that at some point in season 3 we might get a 2 minute scene with Belle 👿
Ugh, and now we have the whole summer to stew about this and will probably have to wait through a good chunk of the beginning of season 3 before anything happens with Belle/EdR.
Well, chances are we’ll be in NL for the first half of S3, but come winter hiatus, I think there will be a Rumbelle reunion.
