Since it came up…How much has Belle been imprisoned?
Yeah, I made a chart.
1. 1 night in Rumple’s dungeon, because Rumple wanted to; released by Rumple to start her duties. Evidently used that as her room for a week or so at least, though she doesn’t seem to be locked in anymore when Robin Hood arrives.
2. 1-2 nights in Rumple’s dungeon, for the crime of kissing him, while he worked out what to do with her; released by Rumple to leave the castle.
3. 1-4 years in Regina’s tower, captured by Regina & Claude, for the crime of loving Rumple (this is her biggest charge…though she did annoy Claude); released (sorta) by the Curse.
4. 28.75 years in the asylum, continuation of Regina’s imprisonment for the crime of loving Rumple (makes you a good pawn); released by Jefferson seeking revenge on Regina.
5. A few minutes to an hour or so in Moe’s shop & the mine cart, taken by Smee on Moe’s behalf…for the crime of Loving Rumple; released by Rumple with magic.
6. A couple hours in the library, locked up by Ruby so Ruby could be all self-sacrificing, for the crime of not believing Ruby’s a monster. Released presumably by Charming.
7. A week or two in the hospital with amnesia, thanks to Hook, for the crime of Loving Rumple, though her mind is more the prison than the hospital is. Released by Regina…as Lacey.
8. 2 days locked up in Lacey’s mind, by Regina, again for the crime of Loving Rumple. Released finally by Rumple with the BF’s potion that Leroy procured. (Yay Leroy!) And then left trapped in SB for who knows how long…

When Belle was in the Asylum, before the curse was broken, who was she? Did she have her FTL memories and was just locked up? Was she Lacey? Or was she just some blank slate??
