So it may not be the DO curse Rumbelles kiss cures but God knows it could be any of a plethora of others! Though I am sad it’s probably NOT going to be the DO curse, I definitely think there’s a Rumbelle curse-braker kiss in the future!
As long as it isn’t “Belle kisses Rumpel while he’s in magical coma. Rumpel wakes up. The End.” then I am okay.

Bae didn’t willingly leave, we know that, but Rumple – believing he is unlovable- could definitely perceive it that way. I think it’s more that Rumple believes he is unloveable, therefore any love he receives is fleeting.
Thanks,so they didnt retcon the thing yet,so in that case was a misunderstanding, because i when i read @POM actually understood she was comparing Malcom, Milah and Cora actions to Bae, the post hints that Rumple was rejected by his Father, Milah, Baelfire and Cora, so i thought they retcon that thing to, in that case i dont undertand how can Rumple fell Bae abandoned him, when in fact was the other way around.
The reality was that his father, Milah and Cora rejected him and he abandoned his son, in doing that he broke a promisse that he did to his newborn son, that he would always be there for him, which made his previous abandonment issues( with his father and Milah, bc Cora came after) bigger, so by abandoning his son Rumple felt that he should not be love by anyone since that act was the biggest mistake in his life, how could he be loved and happy when he decided that magic was better than the person he love the most.
At least that is my perception of things and from the Rumple i saw in past seasons, Rumple never said that he perceived the Bae issue, as bae abandon him, was always the other way around, he felt guilty for abandoning his son and wanted to made the things right.Finally about the TLK issue, even tho Rumple may have felt unloveable because of Malcom, Milah,Cora rejection and then his idea that he doesnt deserve to be love because he rejected Bae, i think Rumple didnt want TLK not because of unloveable feeling he may had, but because in his mind Bae was more important than Belle and by having TLK would mean that the curse would break and he would lose the power he needed to make things happen, to have his son back, so in the end having TLk with Belle in his head was the same was losing Baelfire forever and that was the main goal in his life, get his son back.

Ok, when did baelfire abandoned Rumple?was this something shown this season? Because i was sure that was the other way around, Rumple was to scared and abandoned baelfire at the portal. So they rewrote that on S4 as well?
Baelfire grew distant from Rumple before the portal and then was separated from Rumple is what I meant by “Baelfire left him” however I realise it was listed amongst people who did abandon Rumple so I can see why there is confusion but Baelfire’s leaving is not the same as Malcolm’s, Milah’s, Cora’s leaving.
It’s not Baelfire’s fault that the relationship broke down between him and Rumple but I guess the point I was trying to make is that Rumple believes he is unlovable because he has been unable to hold on to any form of love in the past wheher it be through people abandoning him or his own actions in trying to prevent losing that love.

I’m a big fan of Rumple and Bae’s story of loss and eventual reconciliation, but I think you’re misrepresenting it. Bae didn’t leave Rumple; Rumple abandoned his son. Rumple was supposed to go with Bae but chickened out. Bae didn’t grow distant from his father so much as Rumple’s increasing darkness drove Bae to try and find a way to save his father. As Bae said, Rumple was growing worse every day and hurting people all of the time. Rumple was too overprotective of Bae and killed a man for accidentally hurting Bae. Bae longed for his father back, the one who’d been a good man. Bae hated to see what the darkness was doing to the poor yet good man his father had been before becoming the dark one. Bae did succeed in finding a way to save his father, but Rumple is the one who broke his deal with his son. Rumple’s crippling fear of being powerless, as well as his nasty habit of self-preservation, are what caused Rumple to abandon Bae. That was the tragic irony of the situation: Rumple vowed he’d never abaondon his son as Malcom had left little Rumple, but Rumple’s own actions of using dark magic ultimately led to Rumple abandoning his son over that pit, leaving his son fatherless. Rumple declared nothing hurt worse than the regret he had to live with, but Neal countered that abandonment hurt worse.

Keeper of FelixWell…it’s already changed the game. But I still have hope that they’ll have their true Beauty and the Beast story unfold.
Theory: To be the Savior, Emma had to learn not only to believe, but to love her son. To be heroes, her parents had to act on their love for each other. For Hook and Regina to become heroes, they too had to learn how to love in a more healthy manner–Regina had to learn to let go of the people she loved instead of clinging to them abusively, and Hook had to learn to let go of his desire to avenge Milah in order to embrace a new love and find a new reason to exist.
So maybe part of Rumple’s learning to be a hero will be that he has to learn how to love without hiding/pushing away the people he loves.
I doubt this show will go that deep. I expect it will probably involve fighting monsters instead. But that would be a beautiful twist to it–that he has to grow the bit of himself that was left, the bit that loves Bae, Henry, and Belle enough to die for them, to fill up his empty heart.
