The more I think about it, the more it makes sense: surely magic that’s made from true love, and especially the love of Snow and Charming, would permit–nay, encourage–kissing. And surely Rumple would, if it’s at all possible, create a magic that can’t be taken away by a kiss.

If Rumpel is stabbed with his dagger in the FT world, his dark power would transfer to the person who killed him because that’s what happened when he killed the first Dark One. I’m not sure that would happen in the real world. My thought is, maybe there’s some loophole in the real world, if in fact the only way to stop him is to stab him, if the person doesn’t have bad intentions for killing him, the power will not transfer.

I have no idea whether they’ll be Rumbelle kissing or not. On one hand, I think the fact that he released “true love” magic into the well and that magic is unpredictable may negate the fact that it will strip Rumple of his Dark One powers. On the other hand, I don’t see Rumple/Gold taking that chance. I can imagine him telling her it has to wait until his plans for Bae and the curse are over. Last scene of the series…Belle and Rumple kissing. I have no idea. I just wish they’d announce that Emilie was a Series regular. That would make my Rumbelle heart happy. He needs someone to keep him from going Psycho Rumple on everyone.

I do feel like there is going to have to be a point in the story where they are rid of the Dark One’s Powers or Dagger.

Personally, I think they have already addressed this by showing us that True Love’s Kiss would be enough to break the Dark One’s Powers without one having to be killed, and I think that’s the route they intend on taking us, or at least, make us think that.

Things become too complicated when there are too many loop holes, we’re lucky that True Love’s Kiss is able do the deed as opposed to the latter.

Really with these guys, the rule is to expect the unexpected. I think the only think that can be guaranteed about the ending is that PC and SW will be together with probably Henry and maybe (very maybe) Emma in one form or another.

All other characters are probably fair game for less than truly happy endings. Then again, Lost did end as we thought it would; the island being purgatory.

The island was real; the flash sideways was purgatory, so the writers caught us in a loophole.

The last season never did make much sense to me, I just understood that they were all dead at the end and purgatory was in there somewhere.
