I read it. I’m not sure I agree with her premise. I think the fact that Mr. Gold doesn’t look green and isn’t affected by TLK in our world is that magic works differently in different worlds. What afflicts him (i.e. his dark curse) is specific to the Enchanted Forest so that he only has scales there and can only experience TLK there breaking his curse.

That’s more or less what I’ve been thinking. But then to come to our current arc and my belief that Belle’s TLK will save him after he offers up his Dark One’s shadow to PP…..hmm.

If he does that–offers up his Dark One’s self to PP as a sacrifice–then he’s just a man again, isn’t he? And then could TLK save him? (But from what, I ask myself out loud?)

I do think that there are two answers to why it didn’t break in SB

1) needs to be in the EF and it didn’t happen in Skin Deep because it wasn’t long enough

2) Because plot.

I just realized for a group of Rumbelle lovers we don’t post a lot in the Rumbelle thread.

As for fanfiction, I have to finish a ficlet I’m working on. It’s Rumbelle and Hookriel on a double date. I’ll post when I’m done.
