So now we know that Rumpel had to resist Bell’s love because he needed his power to find his son. The man is torn between two loves 🙁

Exactly. And what makes it so sad is that in the end, he ended up losing both of them anyway. 😥

I agree. In an effort to retain his powers so that he could save someone he loved, he ended up pushing away the other person he loved. Belle. 😥

Yes. A very tragic conundrum. 🙁 But thankfully, Belle is still alive and Baelfire is out running around somewhere. 😉
April 24, 2012 at 9:03 pm #143771midnight drearyParticipantI’m curious to see how Mr. Gold will reconcile his feelings between Baelfire and Belle. They’re the only two people that he ever loved, and most of his actions since the loss of his son have been motivated by them. But it wasn’t necessarily they themselves that moivated him, it was the loss of them. So, I’m anxious to see how he’ll react when he finds out they’re alive.
April 24, 2012 at 9:16 pm #143773mickeyParticipantWell, love for a child is something different for sure. It’s unconditional. But if he finds Bae a grown-up man and assuming they reconcile, then their relationship will be bound to change. I mean Bae will have his own life, it won’t be like it used to be they hanging around together everywhere. Rumple might have some problems accepting it at first.
So that’s why there would definitely be room for a woman in his life, someone to share his life with.April 24, 2012 at 9:41 pm #143780midnight drearyParticipant@mickey wrote:

I’m anxious to find out if Baelfire even remembers fairytale land. I think it’s pretty safe to say he does. The reason why the residents of Storybrooke don’t remember is because of the curse. So, if Baelfire is outside of the curse, then he should remember. Hmm…. 😕

Yeah he most likely remembers because the magic bean was not supposed to affect his memory. I’m glad because I am dyeing to see Bae’s reunion with his father. Rumpel created a dark curse; hurting many lives for him, but I am betting Bae will be even more furious at the evil Rumpel caused. 😮
Also, I am now suddenly more appreciative of how Rumpel did not kill Belle…For some reason it really hit me after watching Rumpel kill the mute maid and others so easily that the odds of surviving were not in her favor!
