So, if Baelfire is outside of the curse, then he should remember. Hmm….
Yeah he most likely remembers because the magic bean was not supposed to affect his memory. I’m glad because I am dyeing to see Bae’s reunion with his father. Rumpel created a dark curse; hurting many lives for him, but I am betting Bae will be even more furious at the evil Rumpel caused. 😮
Also, I am now suddenly more appreciative of how Rumpel did not kill Belle…For some reason it really hit me after watching Rumpel kill the mute maid and others so easily that the odds of surviving were not in her favor!
I’m sorry, but this cracked me up! 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

Funny, scary and true. 😆 😯

LOL I loved your reactions! 😆 But honestly its amazing she lived. Did you not see that blood on Rumpels boot after he took out his first maid!? … would not want to be the one kissing those…
I know what you mean EternalღFlame, I want her to be saved soon! I miss her 😥 Rumpel will defy his cowardness and be brave to save his true love!
April 25, 2012 at 10:37 pm #144083eternalflameParticipantI agree, Lissy. Belle was an innocent bystander in this whole conflict. All she wanted to do was save the man she loved from his curse. Hopefuly, she’ll have another chance to save him. Someone needs to save Mr. Gold from himself and return him to the loving father he once was. Hopefully Belle (or Baelfire) will be able to do that.

You couldn’t have said this better! I completely agree with you. Rumpel has been slowing killing himself with each innocent life he hurts. The light of hope within him that was from loving his son is diminishing. If someone doesn’t save him, he will drown in his own pain, ultimately loosing his humanity. That is when he will become a true beast.

I like the way you said that. His darkness is slowly killing him. I wonder if that will become an actual theme in the show? The idea of darkness slowly killing a person from the inside. Rumple started out as good and decent man, but the dark one’s power slowly began to eat away at him. I wonder if the dark one’s powers would actually kill the person it inhabits? That would be tragic.

So true. It kind of reminds me of what August is going through. The more August lies, the sicker he becomes. With Rumpel, the more harm he causes, the sicker his soul becomes.
I hope that made sense.
April 27, 2012 at 9:03 am #144265PriceofMagicParticipantI’ll be interested to see the reunion between Belle and Mr Gold.
Whilst we know Rumpel believes her to be dead, we don’t know what Belle was told for Rumpel not coming to help her, especially if Regina has anything to do with it. I think Belle remembers fairytale land. The curse was supposed to take away happy endings but Belle didn’t get a happy ending, neither did Rumpel or Jefferson and those two remember their fairytale lives so it’s quite plausible for Belle to remember too.
I can just see the first thing Belle does when she comes across Rumpel in Storybrooke is slapping him across the face. Belle’s been locked in the mental ward probably from the word go so she’s not going to necessarily demonstrate the same personality she had in fairytale land though I think there will still be flashes of the old Belle that come through. Rumpel could see this and realise that Belle isn’t broken by her experiences but is more than likely “chipped”.
I would love for Belle to escape from the mental ward of her own accord because it would really set Regina on edge. She’s been keeping Belle locked away from Rumpel for a while so if Rumpel was to discover Belle was alive and who locked her up, I wouldn’t want to be in Regina’s shoes when Rumpel comes calling.
All magic comes with a price!

I completely agree. Belle should save herself. I love seeing female characters kick a little butt. I’m just hoping that she isn’t actually mentally insane. A lot of people seem to think that she’s being kept in the mental asylum because she remembers fairytale land. And for the most part, I agree. But I’d hate it if after spending so many years in the asylum, she actually went insane. That would be heartbreaking.
