I’m so glad that Belle is finally returning. We haven’t seen her in months. The show introduced her as such an integral part of Rumpel’s story, and then POOF. She was gone! But of course, the writers only did that so that her eventual return would have an even greater impact on the story. I also like the theory of Belle helping Emma to believe. It would be very interesting to see.
Ah! That’s an interesting idea. But wouldn’t it appear to Emma as just another pyshco trying to convince her to believe in fairytales? 😆
And yes, Belle’s return will be great. The longer the wait, the greater the pay off. 😉

I think they could use the character in a better way then that. And i like the idea of Henry getting Emma to believe too much.

When he told Regina, “you no longer have anything I want,” I automatically thought: BELL!!! But alas, it was probably just my shipper brain kicking into overdrive. 😆

He may well just be calling her bluff so she can screw up more. Most every plan she has had ended with her on the losing end. It is possible Gold already knows about Belle, then again he already knew after his confrontation with August that he was Pinnochio. Remember he created the curse so he does know the ins and outs of this thing. He is not going to make a move without a backup plan.

I almost thought that, but then I dropped the idea. I think Mr. Gold is still in the dark in regards to Belle’s existence. But I would be delightfully surprised if he did in fact know about Belle. I would if the big trip he was planning was for him to take Belle and look for his son.

My hidden shipper consciousness wants to believe that Mr. Gold already knows about Belle, but I’m pretty sure that he doesn’t. But I would love for either him or Emma to find Belle before Regina gets her hands on her.
Does anyone else think that Mr. Gold might not even believe that Belle is real? After his experience with August, he’s probably so closed off that no one wil be able to enter. I wouldn’t be surrpised if in the beginning, he thinks he seeing things, or maybe Regina is playing on a trick on him. 😥
May 8, 2012 at 10:11 pm #145990charmingParticipantGold saying to Regina that she no longer has anything he needs can suggest he already knows about Belle. Afterall it seems as though he really believed Regina in FTL when she said Belle was locked in the tower and then jumped out to kill herself. Meanwhile back in SB he was torturing Moe French say that he should have protected her he was her father……so hey who knows what he knows. I do not think he does but won’t be surprised if he did. No one told him who August really was but he figured out he was Pinnochio after knowing that he wasn’t Baelfire.
May 9, 2012 at 5:14 am #146068khaleesiParticipantWhen Belle says “You are not a monster”, my heart literally melt away. I can’t think of any actress can say something so sweet but not make us feel cheesy. How can Rumpel resist her charming?

I was surpised by the complete lack of cheesines in that episode. It was very well done. 😀 But then again, Rumpel’s episodes have always been darker and more serious in their tone. Cheesiness doesn’t really fit into his character arc.

The producers just confirmed via the live chat that Belle's story will carry over into seaon 2! Thank God! Killing her would have been pointless and beyond disappointing. Why introduce a character so integral to Rumpel's story only to kill her off?
Can't wait to see more of her season 2. 😀
