LO!!! 😆 I like it too. But unfortunately, I don’t see the writers making Belle completely evil. Slightly darker? Possibly. But never completely evil.

I know right? 😆 A darker Belle would certainly shake up the show and introduce a new set of rules as to what makes a proper fairytale princess. The thing that I love most about this is their radical take on classic fairytales. Rumpel being the Beast, Red being the big bad wolf, ect. I love character twists like that. So, OUAT introducing a dark princess? count me in!

ParticipantI don’t think a dark Belle would be done well. One of the reasons Rumpelstiltskin fell in love with Belle was her kindness, how she saw the good in him, and how she cared for him and the many people in her life. If all that became hardened, or if she became darker, she would be different from the woman he loves.

That’s actually a very good point. 😉

ParticipantI want her to still be filled with goodness and light, except in regards to Regina. Her, I want her to want to tear apart piece by piece. I think a lot of people deserve a piece of Regina, but Belle should be one of the first in line.
Keeper of Rumplestiltskin's and Neal's spears and war paint and crystal ball.

I like Belle the way she is now too. But I wouldn’t mind seeing her seek a little revenge on Regina. 😈

ParticipantBelle deserves a little revenge. 😈 It all depends on how it’s carried out. Belle isn’t a dark or mean-spirited person, so her idea of revenge might differ heavily from Rumpel’s idea of revenge.

ParticipantIt will be interesting to see how the writers have Belle handle Mr. Gold’s plans. She’ll probably be terribly conflicted. After learning about the curse and Baelfire, she’ll probably have a natural inclination to help him. But the manner in which he goes about carrying out his plans will definiely disturb and frighten her. Hopefully, Belle will act as Mr. Gold’s conscience and will help pull him back from the brink.
