I know, the finale was very rushed. But thanks to recent spoilers, it seems that Belle and Rumpel share a kiss in the season 2 premiere. So, it sounds like the writers are going to slow down a bit and focus on their reunion.

There's also rumors that Belle shares a few scenes with her father Maurice. That'll be nice. She probably really misses her dad. 😥

Belle has a new power! She can now bring the dark one to his knee by simply batting her eyes… I think she will realize that new power and maybe start using it to her advantage and that is the new “darker Belle” the writers were talking about.

I think Belle is going to start agreeing with Rumple’s methods alot more, probably after The Crocodile. Also, in an interview, didn’t Emilie De Ravin say that Belle wasn’t going to try and change Rumple but bring out the lightness in him? In Broken, Belle said to Rumple “I thought you’d changed” which sounded like she expected him to change when she made him promise that he wouldn’t kill Regina.

I liked how Emilie delivered the line “my chipped cup”. It seemed like Belle was aware of how much that cup meant to Rumple but was trying to lighten the mood after their fight. It’ll be interesting to see how Belle reacts when she finds out that Rumple beat up her father but that it was all instigated by her father stealing the chipped cup.

Following the spoiler pics of Red and Belle together, do you think Red may befriend Belle out of genuine friendship or perhaps befriend her as a means for the good side to keep an eye on Rumple?

Both. 😉 Red is an incredibly sweet girl, so her befriending Belle would be very much in line with her character. But she’s also very smart. Judging by last week’s episode, she’s taken on the role of Vice president to Charming. So, she may feel the need to keep an eye on Belle just to be safe.

Perhaps something happens where Belle thinks that Red has only pretended to be her friend and used her to keep an eye on Rumple whilst Red has genuinely began to think of Belle as a friend.

Hmm, possibly. Whatever the nature of their relationship will be, it’ll definitely be turbulent. Her association with Rumpel will cause some friction between her and Red. But the good thing about Red is that she’s extremely compassionate and understanding. She herself is a bit of beast, so maybe she’ll empathize with Belle’s predicament. 😆

Red may also go to Rumple for help with her turning into a wolf problem. Her friendship with Belle may ensure that Rumple doesn’t screw her over with the deal.
