That’d be pretty funny! She would remember being Lacey, though, as all of the characters still have their cursed memories.
I don’t think she will be upset with Rumple as much as she will be horrified by her own behavior as Lacey!
[adrotate group="5"]May 7, 2013 at 11:52 pm #192065RumplesGirlKeymasterI know she’d remember, just making a funny. 🙂
I think she’ll be more horrified by herself as well. It will be interesting to see how she can be both.

She probably will be a bit horrified that she let them out, or went to the excesses she did, and certainly that she encouraged Rumple to go darker. We’ve seen how a few of the chars are coping with it–Ruby is dressing more conservatively, Snow’s defensively saying “we were cursed!,” David’s doing his best to be Charming again, Leroy’s back to being the royal guard, etc. So she will probably go back to mostly Belle.

We don’t know a lot about Lacey (and little of it is what fans would consider “good”) but do you think she has any qualities that Belle might try to develop in her “both” self?

May 8, 2013 at 4:50 am #192151KebParticipantI think she might hang onto her love of rock music, and maaaaaaaaaybe, at least in private, admit that she likes a bit of Gold’s darker, rougher side–as long as he isn’t actually hurting anyone. She already was pretty fearless, which I think comes out in Lacey as brazeness, and she was capable of drinking like a dwarf back in the EF–but those things I think she’ll tone down both for her own safety and for others’.

May 8, 2013 at 1:16 pm #192177RumplesGirlKeymasterI can’t help but wonder if her Lacey side will now mean she’s a bit more open to Rumple using magic.

I think it wasn’t the magic per se she hated, but the fact that it had hurt him. “I’ve seen what magic does to people,” she told Dreamy. Yet she was pretty quick to accept Dreamy’s word that the magic he was offering was good magic and could help people. And once Rumple explained that he was only using magic to try to find his son, she took him back. She just doesn’t want the magic corrupting him, making him evil–like she told Regina, “I could [love him], but something evil has taken root in him.” So if he can do magic without being evil, she’d probably be down with that.

May 8, 2013 at 3:00 pm #192204s. sanchezParticipantI just want a few true heart to heart conversations between the two of them about the hows and whys of their feelings. Similar to Rumples call to her when he was dying and she was in the hospital. We’ve heard them talk about each other and even the actors give insight to the characters…but i want a blunt conversation between them, i just thunk it woukd be mindblowing. Would die to have that.
May 8, 2013 at 3:25 pm #192206angiebelleParticipantI love that idea, S.Sanchez- we really have not gotten enough of them this season, especially with Belle being without her memories for half of it. I hope Belle is more fully integrated next season.
I really want to see Belle struggle to come to terms with what happened. When she remembers, she is going to have to contend with having all of Lacey’s memories. It’s going to be a shock to her system- this will be the first time she is truly experiencing “we are both” because in the asylum, she was essentially a blank slate. I will be so disappointed if this aspect is left unexplored and Belle just returns to status qua, completely unaffected by what happened. After all, she didn’t seem terribly changed by all those years she spent locked up.
