The Black Fairy wanted the Blue Fairy out of the picture because Blue knows Blacks’ darkest secret, the reason she gave up Rumple. What could this secret be? And what is the full history of Blue and Black?

Then the bitterness turns her evil and maybe fairy Tigerlily tells her a about a magic whatever that can fix things and Black ends up evil as a result.

Seems about right.

So does the Black Fairy feel bad about abandoning Rumple? I could maybe see that from tonight’s closing scene, but before she’s always seemed to be callous to it. But if she doesn’t feel bad, why can’t Rumple ever know her secret? I’m hoping for something more complicated than her just choosing power over him and failing at trying to fix it.

But I should add that if my above post turns out to be more or less the truth, boy does that makes Blue look even worse. ‘Give up the baby or else. Oh you choose power? Good. Now stand aside while I drop your sweet innocent baby into the arms of your not so sweet and innocent husband. Don’t worry I’m sure Malcolm will make a great dad.’ Yikes.

Yeah for sure. This is the writer’s last chance for Sneaky Blue. I would LOVE if the Final Battle was against the “Original Power” instead of the Black Fairy. The Black Fairy is a GREAT villain, but that would be such a good twist.

In the context of that scene, I think the secret must be that Blue, not Black, is Rumpel’s mother.

I feel like Rump would have discovered that by now if that were true.
Whatever the secret is it has to be the reason that Black Fairy created the dark curse, related to why she gave Rumpel up, and something really bad.
Maybe she created it as a way to escape the Enchanted Forest and Blue to a place where they could never be found and perhaps she intended to cast it and have Rumpel or a savior break it…or something. But she got banished before she could. So Blue, knowing that the curse would eventually be casted, tried to boot Rump and Bae out of the EF and booted Black to the dark realm and….
ya know I honestly just don’t know anymore

This episode prominently featured dark crystals, after all.
