I have a theory what if Rumple  is the Black Fairy down fall and that is the reason she have gave him up and using Gedion to distract him from learning this and by doing that she knows Rumple will do anything to save his son and invertly Rumple will be the one to start the final battle and she here to benfit from it I don’t know probably a stupid

I think that’s a good guess. We know how much the show likes their parallels; Rumple tried to hurt Henry because of a prophecy so what if the Black Fairy heard something about her son being her undoing and took similar action.
