Emma is the new Dark One after tethering the darkness to herself with the dagger. Reactions! How does this change the show? Can someone save her–her parents, Hook, Henry, all of the above?
I don’t know how I feel about this…it just doesn’t phase me really. I guess cause it was spoiled a month ago. 🙂

So excited for this. Emma is the only one whose “dark side” we haven’t really seen and having a new Dark One is gonna be fun.

The Vault of the Dark One.
Curious on what type of Dark One Emma would be, for remember even when Rumple started out as the Dark One he still tried to do things with good intentions just with a Dark Twist, Â and since the Darkness is attached to a human host said human host must have some influence over the Dark One, Rumple certainly did, and Emma certainly will, and since Emma has had good experience in her life especially with her family by her side, I’m curious what type of internal struggle will be inside of her compared to Rumple’s internal struggle.

I get the feeling that A and E will make Emma as Dark as she was once Light. I’m not so sure we’ll see Emma internally struggling.

She’s off in the wilderness, being tempted.
Rumpel gave in right away to the temptation to use the Dark One’s power; he could walk fine as soon as his name was on the dagger. If Emma holds the power but refuses to use it (like Henry and the quill), then it might not be able to change her personality. But she’ll always have to be on guard.

If true, do I get to say that I called it?
I was kind of hoping the Darkness and her Light would balance out. I mean, Emma’s the Savior – the true incarnate of the purest form of magic there is. When the pure darkness started coming after her, I was hoping that her light magic would balance out the darkness so that Emma, after everything, would be what she originally wanted – normal.
