My reaction was when she was all, “You figured out how to get the darkness out of me once before,” and I was all, “Ohhhh, so this is why we had to go through that nonsensical plot, just to set this up.”
[adrotate group="5"]May 11, 2015 at 8:53 am #304512RumplesGirlKeymasterI was kind of hoping the Darkness and her Light would balance out. I mean, Emma’s the Savior – the true incarnate of the purest form of magic there is. When the pure darkness started coming after her, I was hoping that her light magic would balance out the darkness so that Emma, after everything, would be what she originally wanted – normal.
That would have made a lot of sense. Her own original darkness was stripped, so she gets some darkness back. But the darkness can’t have overwhelmed her because she is True Love Incarnate. Hm.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"May 11, 2015 at 5:15 pm #304582PriceofMagicParticipantI think it would be a massively missed opportunity to have Emma be the dark one and NOT have her go dark. It’s obvious they’re going to have Emma’s dark one curse be broken by TLK, they hinted at that in Skin Deep, question is: Will the kiss come from Hook or Henry?
They could also parallel the Emma/Henry story with the Rumple/Baelfire story. History repeats itself on this show (especially in the Stiltskin family) so Emma and Henry could be the ones to break the cycle.

It’ll be Hook. There was a reason why they had Emma declare her love but not have a kiss. The writers want to save THAT for 511, which will also be the 100th episode of the series.

I don’t know. They had her chicken out of saying “I love you” in the apartment and she only said it as she was about to sacrifice herself. She has a habit of making these big sweeping statements in dire situations when somebody is potentially going to die but then backtracks when the crisis is averted……
I think it would be more poetic if Henry’s kiss saves Emma in season 5 (even more so if season 5 is the last)when Emma’s kiss saved Henry in season 1. Also didn’t A&E say in an interview ages ago that although you can have more than one true love in your life time, you can only have one true love at any time? So since Henry is Emma’s and Regina’s true love and is still around, it would makes sense for his kiss to be the one to break the dark one curse on her.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that whatever Adam and Eddy said in an interview doesn’t hold much water anymore.
Henry makes canonical sense: he’s already been established as her true love. And yes, there’s a delicious parallel to him saving her like she saved him back in S1.
However….I honestly don’t think that’s they way Adam and Eddy view this anymore. They like their big shiny shippy Tweetable moments. Hook breaking Emma’s curse with TLK on the 100th episode and saving her from a lifetime of being the Dark One? That’s pure Adam and Eddy and they wouldn’t pass that up for anything. They’ll do some sort of magnificent dance about how it’s both Hook and Henry by virtue of Henry’s presence in the story but that it had to be Hook’s kiss in the end.

The Vault of the Dark One.
If Emma did disappear into the vault like Rumple did in S3, that would mean someone must travel to the Enchanted Forest and trade his or her own life to bring Emma back. That was how Neal brought back Rumple.

Don’t think that’s what happened, because when Rumple went to the vault, the dagger went with him. I don’t think Emma died. She just became the new Dark One, and the disappearance was for dramatic effect.

But then where did Emma disappear to, according to your theory?
