I’ve seen other people starting topics about other shows, so I figured I might as well.
Has anyone seen Fox’s BONES? It;s amazing!!!! One of my three favorite shows, of course including OUAT! 😉[adrotate group="5"]March 30, 2012 at 7:18 pm #140422hjbauParticipantI really liked Bones, but then there was the season where Booth was dating that other girl and everything about the show was different. And then the actor who plays Bones got pregnant so they just pretended that she and Booth had hooked up in the last episode even though i do not think that we were meant to think they hooked up. All that time thinking that the two of them were going to get together eventually and then when it happened i didn’t even realize that they had. Epic failure. I still watch it, but this show will never recover from that for me.

I know that they decided to “skip” the actual getting together part because they were afraid of the “Moonlighting Curse” but I think the way they got the two of them together was . . .awkward 😕 . I was looking forward to seeing them FINALLY kiss for real and start to date so the sudden pregnancy was just, strange. It’s like they just skipped all the good stuff. But, I still watch because I hold out hope that eventually she will give in and decide she wants to get married and maybe that will be when I will get my FINALLY moment!
Now I like Castle better.
March 30, 2012 at 8:53 pm #140428hjbauParticipantIt is exactly like they skipped all the good stuff. All of that build up and then i was not even aware they had hooked up and then all of the sudden they are pregnant. I was like what? I had to go rewatch the end of the episode where they hooked up and i still don’t see any suggestion that something happened there. Now the show is going to be about baby stuff and i am not sure how i feel about that. I liked it more when it was about them. It was never all about them, but that used to be a significant part of the show and now it is just different.
I also like Castle quite a bit more now. Though i probably always liked Castle more.

And I’m currently studying Anthro, which is at least partially attributable to Bones/Kathy Reichs. I’d even say that as much as I love shows like Fringe and Castle (and I really, really love them, you have no idea) Once Upon A Time is the first show since Bones to have such a huge effect on me. Because of that, I don’t think I’ll ever stop watching, but the passion I had for the first three, even first five seasons, isn’t there anymore for the reasons you guys have already mentioned.

Now we did hear Bones tell Angela that she slept with Booth but it was only the episode prior to the finale. Now the costume designers can only hide baby bumps for so long and if it was months between filming that bump is going to get quite large. 🙂
I do like the way Angela and Booth try to help Temperence fit into society and open up her mind past science. 😉
April 8, 2012 at 12:16 pm #141334hjbauParticipantThey just aired one new episode this week, but they have been showing the Finder to give the woman time with her baby. I actually would have been fine with them having her hide behind stuff for a few episodes rather then them do what they did.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Forensic pathology is an awesome field. Having witnessed nine autopsies, I’d say forensics can indeed be quite interesting.
