Hello! I was thinking the other day about the relationship between Rumple and Belle and it reminded me of a book I read by Anne Stuart called Breathless. The lead male is all kinds of screwed up and BAD. But there’s obviously something broken in him similar to Rumple and the lead woman is tough and surprisingly resilient considering what she goes through (mostly by the hands of the main guy). I have to warn you, this book is an adult romance novel and very dark. I don’t want to shock or offend anyone who may want to read it. But it reminded me of what Rumbelle’s relationship could have been had Once not been an ABC show owned by Disney.
Anyone else have novels that remind them of Rumbelle or the Charmings? Or any other grouping for that matter? We could get an interesting summer reading list going to fill the time between seasons! But I recommend everyone provide genre and heat level of the books for any reader that prefers to keep things rated “G”. Please, if you do read the novels and disagree with me or anyone’s recs, be polite. What one of us may see as a mirror image storyline or character portrayal, others may disagree. But let’s have fun with it, shall we?? 🙂

    So to begin:
Rumple and Belle = Anne Stuart, Breathless, Dark Historical Romance, Heat level: very hot
