But she wasn’t eating the MERPEOPLE She ate the fishies, the clams, the sharks. I know that Eric’s dog couldn’t speak from what we saw, but as a sailor prince, he eats tons of seafood. Sentient seafood that was once alive and talking. So is that evil on his part?

Does he know that they are sentient? He is unaware of the life below the sea, so far as I know. He doesn’t know they talk and sing. Maybe he gave it up after he married Ariel. We don’t know.

The case for Snow White vs Rumplestiltskin is that he took her mother’s necklace as payment for Snow wasting his time.

I think Gepetto would win in Gepetto vs Jiminy Cricket. Jiminy acquired the potion form Rumple and planned to use it on his parents. It was sheer bad luck that his parents switched the bottles. Either way someone was being turned into puppets that night. Gepetto was 100% blameless.

The Jiminy vs Rumple case is that Jiminy got the potion from Rumple. Was Rumple to blame for what happened?

With the case of the necklace, Snow wins and Rumpel has to give it back (though o believe that necklace was magical and he needed it for something) while on the cricket case, jiminy didn’t want Geppettos parents dead. He didn’t kill them or anything. It was just bad luck. They died in an accident

Yeah this a hard one. But it goes back to intention. Jiminy intended harm on his parents but someone else paid the price. Is he guilty anyway?

I think Jiminy is guilty of pre-mediated attempted murder of his own parents, but is not to blame for Geppetto’s parents being turned into puppets. That fault lies with Jiminy’s parents, I believe, since they knowingly switched the bottles. (I’ve forgotten some of those details though, since I only watched “That Still Small Voice” twice two years ago).

He didn’t know what the potion did. I think he just knew it would kill them though
