I don’t see GOAT approaching Rumpel, or if they did, that he would want to deal with them. I can totally see Rumpel selling out Regina, but he doesn’t trust people from the outside world. He suggested letting Greg Mendel die to avoid revealing the town. I also think Greg doesn’t trust anyone in the town. As for Tamara, well, Rumpel won’t react kindly to Tamara playing his son, which she would have to reveal if she tried to make a deal about Regina. So I don’t see how GOAT and Rumpel would work together at this point in the story.

Hook, on the other hand, is a different story. Since it is likely that Tamara encountered Hook in the closet, perhaps that is what led to what we see in the Promo where she sounds like she is recruiting Hook. He wouldn’t draw a line at hurting Regina either. Regina and Hook were not friends, just convenient allies who would both cross and doublecross the other as the situation and their need for the other’s help changed.
Of course, he’d feel the same way about GOAT, so he could shift his allegiance away from them too.

I’ve cracked the mystry gun hand Guys!!!!!
It IS indeed Emma’s hand- not sure how to get a screen cap of it though….
scene is in Rumple’s cell, while talking to Hook, Emma has her right hand wrapped around a… bar/spike thing & her hand is crystal clear (the only image where it has been crystal clear & showing her index finger, all episode)- I have it up in HD on the big screen (her finger is currently 3x normal size lol- so I cant miss it) & she has 1 triangle looking freckle/spot thing approx 1/2 between her knuckle & middle joint of her index finger!

Grabbed phone & took 2 pics- sorry for the poor quality, I had to reduce size as the pics were massive & grainy from aiming at TV with phone (my real camera broke 🙁 ) The mark is WAY clearer on my TV screen- it cant be missed, I promise!!!

New thought…could that clip in the promo actually be from a little flashback we’ll see to when she found him in that storeroom and offers to give him a ride back to SB?

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Emma (though I still lean more heavily toward Tamara) but I also think the scene will be fleeting, she’ll realize Neal had nothing to do with what is happening.

The only people I can’t imagine Emma ever threatening with a gun are MM, Charming or Henry. She doesn’t trust Neal enough right now to put him in that category of faith despite overwhelming circumstantial evidence. Still, she isn’t going to threaten him for no reason, so something probably happens, whether that’s to Henry or perhaps Tamara frames Neal for August’s death. I’m sure there will be context for the scene, and I agree it seems like it could be a fleeting moment, not a significant one.

I’ve been wavering back and forth on whose hand it could be pointing the gun at Neal. At first, I disputed the being Tamara’s, because the skin tone was too light, which would allow for the hand to be’s Emma. Yet, from a storytelling perspective, I thought the hand wouldn’t be Emma’s, since why would she point a gun a her son’s father and love of her life? I’m now at the point of thinking that the person pointing a gun at Neal might very well be Emma (that birthmark on her right index finger does look like hers), since she is the sheriff and she’s looking out for Henry’s safety. It would only be in a moment of confusion or panic. She might think since Neal is engaged to Tamara that he must also be working with her to get magic and/or kidnap Henry. Yet, I think Emma would soon realize through her innate lie-detecting ability that he would never harm their son and that he was clueless about Tamara’s dark agenda. So, the way I see it going down is that Emma finds out Tamara is devious, she questions Neal at gun-point about his involvement, but then she immediately realizes he is innocent, and so she turns the gun on Tamara. ThenTamara attempts to wrestle the gun away from Emma, but Emma is too fast and body-slams Tamara in defense of Neal.
