As for that CaptainSwan thing they stated at the Festival that isn’t going to happen even David and MM stated that at the time.
Hate to disagree but at Paley, when asked about CaptainSwan, Eddy said “I wanna see it!!” Josh and GG said that they’d be worried for Emma but I think we all know it’s coming. I think at this point it has to. But the road to SwanFire is paved with CaptainSwan

Unless they’re using the flashbacks to show how different the relationship will be now. Kinda disappointed there wasn’t more “Lacey” in the promo.
Rumple does seem intrigued by Lacey being into his dark side haha. Love the expression on his face. Also, WHO is Rumple beating with his cane? Keith? I bet Charming didn’t advise him to do that lol.I suspect that Regina’s statement that Rumple always chooses darkness may be coming into play with Lacey’s appreciation for his darkness. He’s got the easy choice: Darkness AND Lacey, or light and the hard road of fighting to get Belle back. And that’s a tricky choice–we saw how quickly he went for Cora *shudder* when she appreciated his dark side.

They don’t kill all the cute guys. Perhaps it depends on your definition of attractive, but they still have Jefferson, Rumpel, Charming, Thomas, Whale as alive and well at this point in the story. I think Hook is quite safe really. If he managed to avoid being killed by the Queen of Hearts “off with his head” herself, Cora, I think he’ll be able to handle little ol’ Taser Tapping Tamara. Plus as RumpelsGirl said, there’s lots of interview clues that the showrunners want to use Hook in a romantic story arc.
As for Rumpel and Belle: a long time ago there was an interview where I think Emilie said maybe the beast would rub off on Belle…..this may be what she meant. I agree with Keb, he may find it tempting to take her as she is, but I hope he wil fight to get back the real Belle.

Rumple always chooses the easy path, magic is the easy fix for him. Thus why he tried to “fix” Belle with magic (TLK and Chip) before now. But I think he’s going to find that being Dark with Lacey isn’t as satisfying as the long hard road toward Light with Belle. He had the Dark with Cora (ugh) but Belle makes him want to be the best version of himself. He wants to be the romantic hero, hence why he goes to Charming for advice. I think in the end he will choose to fight for Belle but now the question is will she come back in this episode or end of the season.

Plus I don’t think Rumple would enlist Charming if he was planning on leaving her as Lacey.
Maybe what Emilie meant was that after living as Lacey for awhile, once her memories return she’ll be more willing to be a little dark like Rumple.
Idk, I don’t like the idea of Rumple just leaving her as Lacey – it’s the easy way out and definitely NOT him fighting for her like she did for him 🙁
Nice! Emma and Charming bonding! If you look close Emma has a bruise on the side of her head when Charming kisses her…I wonder what happened 😕
Well, even if he can get Belle back, she’ll be both, just like he’s Rumple and Gold and Charming’s David Nolan and Charming now. (And these are very good examples since both were affected abnormally by the curse like she apparently will be.) That’s not necessarily entirely bad–Charming’s learned from David Nolan’s mistakes (or so he claimed in We are Both) and Gold’s calm demeanor seems to help balance most of Rumple’s insanity (which was pretty extreme by the time the curse was cast, I think in part due to Regina’s lie about Belle as well as his imprisonment).

Definitely. I’d like to see that. We’ve seen Rumple trying to be good for Belle, it’ll be interesting to see Belle going a little darker now.
