Which would be terribly sad, especially considering Greg leaves town in the finale. Greg would have to be pretty dumb to find a space filled with secret cells and not search every one for his father. And even though he’s getting it on with Tamara, I don’t think he’s completely brainless.
2) Could Regina send Kurt to another land? Magic hasn’t totally dwindled out of SB. She still had some magical objects, like she used in An Apple as Red as Blood to get the hat to work.
3) Could Regina have erased Kurt’s memories?
4) Did Regina take Kurt’s heart and then kill him?
Dunno if she’d have had the magic for any of those. Unless the reason she had barely any left by the time we met her is because she used it all up on Kurt years earlier.

GOAT may not be stealing power from Regina with the taser, since I’m sure that would kill her. Regina’s no Dark One and is still mortal, even with her magical ability. Plus, we know Regina survives and goes on Hook's ship with the Charmings, probably in search of Henry after GOAT kidnaps him. Since we know Regina won’t die, then I think she’s just be shocked with electricity by Greg in his attempt to torture her for answers about his father, Kurt Flynn. And Greg won’t let Tamara kill Regina, because only Regina knows the answer to the fate of his father.
I’m really curious to know what’s running through Hook’s mind in that scene where he’s looking at Regina, because what he wants and if he has even the slightest change of heart will impact on whether or not Rumple is under a real threat of being tasered. Maybe that thing would kill him? When the legend of the Dark One was born, it didn’t exactly take into account electrical devices that can suck magic, so the usual rules may not apply now with this new weapon in the mix.
I still think that if Greg is protecting Regina that Tamara will want to get her magic from the next best source: Rumplestiltskin, which would be how she gets Hook to team up with her: by promising to kill the Dark One. Yet, I still think nothing, not even modern technology or tasers, would be enough to kill Rumple while he still has his powers. I think the taser could steal his power, and then Hook would be free to kill his enemy with a sword.

Agreed that Greg is smarter than he looks, even though Tamara is playing him. I think it could be the case that Greg’s dad, Kurt, is in the hospital basement but he’s gone mad after 28 years of confinement. (Amnesia Belle did seem kinda crazy after all, which was probably how she was during her 28 years of isolation in the hospital basement). If Greg does find crazy Kurt, Greg will want revenge on Regina and probably would resort to kidnapping Henry.

Agreed. I think it’s much likelier that Kurt is captured, crazy, or dead in SB. But you never know with these writers. Maybe Regina really did use her bulk supply of magic in 1983 to send banish Kurt to NL and now he goes by Captain Kurt.

Considering the fact that we see both Rumple and Regina interacting with Hook on his ship in the finale , I doubt Hook helps GOAT steal magic from either of them. He probably has his own agenda.

Hook always has his own agenda and right now it’s to kill Rumple, but I think Hook will take about 500 steps back when he realizes GOAT want to kidnap Henry. I think that’s too much for him. The way he talked about the Lost Boys..chidlren are off limits. Especially Milah’s grandson.

Agreed I don’t think anyone will be losing their powers because of the taser just because of what we know about the finale, and Hook himself said he’s a “man with a code” that he lives by and children are definitely off limits.

I agree GOAT would not steal magic from Regina, since as I wrote above, the taser would kill her; she’s still mortal. The main reason I think Rumple could be a very real target is because of the prophesy about a boy being his undoing (the boy could be grown-up Owen, who did inspire Regina to adopt Henry). The “undoing” could refer to Rumple loosing his powers rather than loosing his life. Plus, as the Dark One, I think only his dagger can kill him while he still has his magic. The only reason Hook came near to killing Rumple last time is because Rumple was outside of SB in a Land Without Magic. Hook’s agenda has always been to find a way to kill the Dark One. Now that Rumple has regained his power and hidden his dagger so no one can find it, the only chance Hook has at killing Rumple is if he joins forces with Tamara, who could probably steal Rumple’s powers, making Rumple just a mortal man again. Then Hook would have his chance to kill Rumple but we know something (or someone) prevents Hook from killing Rumple in the finale.

I don’t think so. They might just want us viewers to think the prophesied boy is Henry, but the future is notoriously difficult to predict with 100% accuracy. Makes for better drama if we’re kept guessing.
